I have that exact spa.with issues I need help with..

Trying to hookup a new hottub (the wiring is still in place from the old one installed 30+yrs ago) it has two breakers in the outside panel and more than the four wires that you are showing with different colored wires so I'm going to get some more knowledgeable help so I don't Farble anything up. Both the old and new hottubs are 220v.

Have a jucuzzi j385 if the FL2 is showing will the circulation pump not run? Wondering if it’s the circulation pump or flow sensor

Are all 110v plug and play hot tubs convertible to 220/240? I recently purchased a aquarest AR 150, which currently has a 110 GFCI. However, my house is set up for 220 from my previous tub.

SCOTT - YOU R the MAN!!! after multiple hours and parts replacement - YOU drove me to the problem - I have a Jacuzzi J365 - and found that when I pulled the 4 wire J4 plug it the GFCI didn't trip ---- when you got to the ozone - I disconnected and I'm back in business - can I run the Hot tub without the Ozone ? thanks and Aloha Chris

I have 2006 jacuzzi j335 2006. Where do i get parts to replace flow switch, heat sensor and circulation pump? We just purchased . It was supposed to be in good working order. It was not. When we filled it up all pumps worked but it was leaking from the tube coming out of the black box hooked behind the pack. We fixed that then got error code. The black box is the heater?

I have changed out the hot tub and the pack is farther away from the end of the original seal-tight tube. Can the wires and the seal tight tube be extended?

Hi Scott. Got a bullfrog spa that sat for quite some time. Had a repairman come out and he said bad pump/crack from freezing. We replaced pump, and cover. Now the tub is leaking and the power is tripping to the tub. He is recommending heater replacement next and no guarantee it fixes it. The power trips to the breaker after about 5-6 days so when he goes to test things he can’t find anything. Have you seen this issue where is trips after 5-7 days and then leaks out. Thanks

Just purchased a dealer refurbished j325 with all new internal components but guess where they decided to cut corners..6 of the spinner jets (7 total rotating jets on older j325). Instead of replacing them, because I'm sure the bearings failed, they just yanked the bearings and housing out so it was just plastic flopping around inside the jet. I went down and told them I have 6 bad floppy rotating jets and they said they're supposed to rotate and I said YEAH ON A BEARING LOL. You should've seen the look on their face when I pulled the 1 good rotating jet and 1 bad rotating jet as an example out of my hoody pocket. They said they'd be over to replace them...man, can't even avoid funny business from a local dealer. Wish everyone could be honest like Spa Man!

Why not just cut in the middle of the pipe and put in a coupling then the elbow. I cant imagine wasting all that time not to mention that youre now risking having the pipe leak after completion...

Just fixed mine by simply unplugging the ozone within a few minutes thanks to this video!

Great video, thanks. Can you bury the liquid tite conduit and run it up underneath the spa and through the base of the hot tub to just outside the spa pack? Or must you come in through the bottom section of the side panel of the spa (i.e. come in through the side of the spa vs up through the base) and feed the conduit/wire through to the spa pack? Are there knockouts on the side of the spa where you would insert the wire cable conduit for this purpose, or is it "drill your own?" Thanks

You just saved me arse!! Thanks so much. I restarted the tub, cycled the pumps, bled the lines and I don't think I have a bleed valve. Nothing worked. I'm also in Canada so I was very worried about freezing. Then came your plunger idea!!!! It's first if there's a next time.

why are you replacing all these valves? I mean aren't they serviceable like a new stem/plunger or o'rings. That's where I'm at on my tuff-spa the 2" orings are shot so I'm hoping to replace those and put it back together. Is there something I don't know. Not a pro here. Thx

California it's legal to put colored tape on black wires over a certain size, people just buy the right color of wire and be done with it.

OK, spa guy had I just listened to some of your other videos about the GFCI. It would’ve saved me a lot of troubleshooting. I connected the neutral to the spa to the neutral bar instead of the GFCI rookie mistake. Your videos saved me.

Hi Scott, I have a Jacuzzi bathtub with an air lock. Every time I fill the tub and turn it on the pump starts but no jet flow. I have used a plunger over one of the jets and I am able to get the jets going. is there a way to figure out where the air lock is coming from? I have also tried using some spa stop leak with no luck. Any ideas? I have left the tub full of water for a few days after getting it working and the jets will start up right away. Thanks for any help.

But what if just one wire at T-B1 trips the gfci ? After unplugging heater and the other components

that is my hot tub exactly...J-325....replaced pillows, waterfall, heating element, pump and 2 covers in 10 yrs....it is a nice tub but it can be a money pit after all the years plus the initial investment

Spa Man..... Dude your videos are a life saver. You have saved me so many times from pissing away a bunch of money or time troubleshooting. Keep up the good work, your hottub content is priceless and I seek you out over anyone else. Make more repair videos as there is nowhere near enough hot tub repair videos on the web. Considering all the various models its hit and miss. Everyone always seems to be so intimidated about repairing their own tubs. Your light hearted videos remove that intimidation factor. Yes, I'm a hot tub tech too, that is good 👍 You can also go in the front spa cabinet and release the airlock that way as well through the pump itself or intake pump union. Nice, I'll have to try the plunger method, I'm so used to releasing it from the pump, thanks! 👌

Great job electrician is going to Connect Mine next week He's got already number 6 wire all the way coming from my breaker box. 75 feet to my backyard. I can already do it from here. I am not a electrician But I have been working with this stuff for a few years so I know When it comes 220 and water I want to make sure some license electrician does it But I already paid him to do it!! I have a caldera vanto spa and it is air locked and nothing i do will fix it. The plunger trick wont work on mine of course because the caldera has a tube that comes up in the filter. So im still searching for a remedy.
