I admire Jad's ability to stand for his vision of the truth in the most objective way possible. There is indeed no black or white for many of the issues in lebanon, and it's refreshing to see someone who takes a moderate approach that would reach for both sides and pull them out of the pit of hatred in which they are drowning. Amazing episode.

He is a true reformer. The Saudi-American backed opposition that is obsessed with getting rid of HA is a manyake opposition who will not reform anything. Jad Ghosn is a true reformer who can atleast manage to conversate with HA supporters to reach common ground. He knows that change comes by concesus. This is the best way forward.

One of the most important statement by Jad is that while stressing out the importance and the reality of the horizontal struggle/clash between different classes inside the society one can't totally ignore and dismiss the vertical cleavages in the society as identities, sects...etc, this is what most of the leftists fail to understand.
