Mal does not have sympathy for August but has sympathy for KW. Joe said it best, he is foolish. Men and women at 23 years old are totally different mentally than someone at 45+ years old. SMH - what if August was a female would it be the same? Jada is a full grown woman with two kids and been married for 2 decades. August is young and probably his first love. Love in 20s is different than love in 40s. So different. Will looked a mess and all I was wondering was why is he looking like that.

August was 22?!! He was a baby. He was technically an adult, but the human brain doesn't fully develop until one is 25. He was not in a space to make a sound decision about being with Jada. wow... If she was seen as a mother figure by August there's very little chance he would have slept with her. Being seen as a mom is like being put in the friend zone. The "only" way August could have ended up sleeping with Jada is if he was attracted to her sexually from the start and Jada was attracted to him. At 23 years old a DECISION was made before they ever had sex that was consensual. People play vulnerable all the time to get close to others. Nothing toxic about knowing that and saying grown men don't just fall in bed with beautiful women by accident.

Mal fails to understand that "taking advantage of someone" does not necessarily mean the person was raped, assaulted or enforced against their will/consent. Jada USED August, toyed with his emotions whilst fully aware of his mental vulnerabilities and abused the trust for her own selfish needs she claims as "self-healing" and discarded him when she no longer needed him. It's like nobody watched the video......uhm, Mal.... 1. Jada said he was her son's Friend.. 2. August came to them REALLY SICK 3. Will says, "I was done with your -----!" 4. Jada says 'I just wanted to feel good, It's been SOOO LONG since I have felt good. It felt SOOOOO good. 5. And then Will says, " I'm going to get you back". Jada says "I think you already have ". Let's see, who can't see that Jada took advantage of August?? She had HIM on her show 2 years ago, admitting that she had a sex addiction as he licked his lips! She can't explain why she would put her side dude on the show ACROSS from Will's sisterrrrr! It was a way to get at Will, whatever they were going through. It was meant to be "FUN" for her showing Will that she "can play too!" But Will' stuff hasn't been made public. August appears to be like, " I thought that they were done, and we were going to be together, so I went into FULL relationship mode". This is too simple. August is not going to be bold enough to go to Will Smith's family and mess it up, he was INVITED in to the sick mess Will and Jada have going on. Now if Will, went after one of Willow's friends, OMG! The public would be in an uproar. That would be terrible! Now, as for this conversation, a dude CAN be taken advantage of, if the woman doesn't tell him what HER intentions are. Jada saw Tupac in August, whom I bet she still loves. August then, was like "I'm out! This is not what I thought it was!" Jada proceeds to say August cut her off, this mess would still be going on. It looks like according to their time line, this was a 2-2.5 year Affffaaaaiir! Jada took advantage because she selected someone that had a lot emotionally going on, she knew what she was doing! But the one that might be the most shook, is her son Jaden. How do you explain this? This is so sad, and such manipulation. As men, they do this mess to women all of the time, find a broken woman who doesn't have her dad, and make her a "baby mama " as a trophy. Such garbage mentality! This is the problem, you've got broken crazy individuals out ruining people's lives, and we laugh at that? Miss me with that! AUGUST was used; to get Will's attention. SHE PUT HER SIDE DUDE ON HER SHOWWWWW alongside Will's sister!! She claimed she hasn't spoken to him in 4-4.5 years, but that show was in 2018???? And.....they looked pretty cool with each other, not like they were on the verge of cutting it off. I truly believe that they haven't spoken probably in months, not years. Why is this any of our business? It's not, it's just a picture of messed up individuals are everywhere, causing damage to others; feeling as if they did nothing wrong. It's sickening.

For clarity! August cut Jada off after his sisters death in December 2018. I believe that Jada would've still wanted to finesse a way to maintain her relationships with August and Will. August told the story in his documentary. He even made an entire video about a text message conversation between him and Jada in "Nunya". Him and Jada were in a full ass relationship. They walked red carpets and posted pics together. She was happy af with him. He said he let go because it was unhealthy for him. He said sisters death made that part of him die. You can even hear the undertones in Jada's voice, "He stopped talking to me and that's understandable". She made several mentions of him not wanting speak with her. She didn't want it to end. I 100% feel all of what Rory was saying . Also, Mal has some suppressed trauma or illusions surrounding masculinity. Men/boys get taken advantage of everyday B! Heal that, Bro!

He's using the word correctly IMO. It's similar to believing women aren't capable of being serial killers. If Mal had instead said, "I don't believe grown adults could take advantage of each other because they both consented to the relationship" then he'd be on firmer ground and would avoid the misogynistic tone.

@ad20944 жыл бұрын
@@joungyalen25 nah he's not right. It's called toxic masculinity because it's referring to cultural definitions of what it means to be a man that are toxic. For example, the idea that men are less emotional than women. That's part of what people say masculinity is, logic as opposed to emotion. So men feel less comfortable being open about their feelings except expressed through anger. Otherwise they are called a simp or people imply they are gay. This results in men having weaker friendship ties, being more lonely than women and having much higher suicide rates. So that aspect of masculinity (what it means to be a man) is toxic. There is toxic/hyperfemininity also.

I wholeheartedly disagree with Mal, like holy shit dude, that's just disappointing. Men can also be taken advantage off wth is he saying? No one's saying he was raped or anything but like bruh really?? People can be manipulated to be used for someone else's pleasure whether sexual or not??? And age doesn't matter in that aspect. If a man did what Jada did you KNOW more people would be up in arms about it so what's the deal with the double standard? And this is why so many men feel they have to feed into toxic masculinity and don't want to show emotions or be vulnerable because they get shut down like that about their experiences. And August cut off communication with her not the other way around. Like? I'm just so annoyed cause he literally almost died and lost two siblings and was addicted to percs, he damn near would have been paralyzed. He didn't randomly drop names or was talking shit he literally was asked a question and he answered it. It's not for attention Mal, like he has a right to share his OWN experience whether or not it's at the expense of someone else. JUST cause they are famous doesn't mean they have to constantly regulate themselves. He's human. Like can people actually research first before making these narrative statements it's annoying.

not a good look to say that men cant be abused and taken advantage of. its actually more sexist to say that women are incapable of taking advantage of people and doing really shitty things.

Mal exposing himself is all. He never dealt with a woman of Jada magnitude in his life so he is incapable of understanding. If he stepped his game up and stop dealing with Joes leftover groupies he may be able to understand how a world famous hundred millionaire could take advantage of u. 💯

Mal not being able to understand that age has nothing to do with whether or not someone can take advantage of a person shows his lack of maturity

Jada quick to turn the table and make it almost as if will cheated on her, pay attention on her manipulation techniques

Sam Fisher nobody cheated. They both had relations with other ppl so if Jada cheated, Will did too.

This episode reminds me of why I can’t watch every episode... Mal ruins it for me. He has a very weak ego...it’s too much.

I think Mal & Joe both have their moments...Mal can be completely clueless & Joe can be a complete ass. But Joe is entertaining for sure...sometimes they need another point of view other than Mal.

Mal back with the BS again I see. In an attempt to be "cool" he keeps showing how corny he really is. It's cool tho I get it lol
