For 35 dollars, you can't beat it. Marvel legends literally would have charged about 60 dollars. Look what they did with their new phoenix. 50 dollars for a base, one extra head and i think two exra hands.

@@metamorphomisk you show/point me to a current ML that cost 35 dollars that comes with that many heads, hands, effect pieces that makes sense, paint, and sculpt. Nearly ALL ML share a buck. Is that bad, yes and no. Ken and ryu have ALWAYS had the same body shape. How many figures from marvel legends share the bucky cap body, the same two or three female bucks, the same spiderman bucks for other figures that are not spiderman? Too many to count. Of course jada used the same for those two and maybe akuma and dan if they get to him, but nearly every other figure in there line is new sculpt. I have alot of ML figures, but in the past 3-4 years I can say without a doubt, the best figures those three knuckleheads form the hasbro team made are the sentinel and Galactus.

Q of the Day: I’m all for repaints when it comes to video game figures, especially in Jada’s case where they’re not coming at the expense of new characters. They’re legit playable alternate version of the characters in the game, and they’re a nice bonus for anyone that wants them.

Looks great and the extea head for the blue release is a nice touch. Noe if Violent Ken had another new head for the previous release, that would've been very cool. I'm pretty keen on the repaints for Chun Li, although the new Ken in white isn't as interesting as we already have Ryu in white. Though it will come with the new punch effect.

These are repaints I love buying. The thing that upsets me about McFarlane is they'll sell those BS glow in the dark, jokerized, or a 2pk, and the figure will have no new accessories. This is how you do it.

I’m not really into repaints since I want to collect the ‘iconic’ looks for characters (which tends to be their default player colour). But I have nothing against repaints, since they’re more options for other people

Anthony (or anyone else here) correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this Chun-li (as well as the Red variant and some stocks of the Blue original one) now come from the new factory they're sourcing to make the figures? I think the first one you reviewed a few months ago cane from the older factory, that's why this version has cleaner features and paint overall. Or maybe I'm wrong 😓😅

All current figures and all older releases with the solo figure on the back come from the new factory and have better paints... but Bison only came from the new factory as far as I know and he still had iffy face paints.

I LOVE these repaints! My display will only have Player 1 colors but I definitely love to have their other colors in package and I want to support the line especially when the variants come with extra parts for the regular released! Absolutely fantastic line! 👏

i don't usually get repaints of the same figure but the extra accesories i can also use on the first release as well is what sold me on this, the one thing i felt was missing from the original was the victory face

I got two player twos. (I want the up coming Fi Long player two with the nunchucks for sure) This figure here I love. There is more paint work on her face that looks really good. Love the gold Trim. I personally liked my player 2 Ryu. I like they have us a 2nd laughing head for the blue figure too. That was cool. Only downfall of Jada is they go really really slow. But I get that they want to lean from mistakes and get better and perfect the figure.

I like repaints, but I HATE when they shove a repaint in a package with a BaF piece you need to complete a figure you want. Thats just dirty.

Wish they would make the face prettier, like in the art box. Maybe im in the minority, but i just dont like the aesthetics of the figures that much. Specially Ryu and Ken look to much bulky. I have the fei-long, great figure. I just think for my taste the line would be more better if they where for a more slim aesthetics.

Street Fighter in general just has very chunky character designs. It's especially apparent in the later entries of the franchise. You're gonna have to wait on Jada if they ever go through with SFIII, the character designs are ace and aren't as bulky as SFII.

The video game characters, in particular Ryu and Ken, are chunky, so Jada stayed true to the design.

@possibly8180 but also, it depends on the art you base you figures, the sf2 sprites look so much better. And some of the art work, like in this Chun li package is so much better that whatever they base they figures from.

It's a shame cause the figures are really good. I have the fei long, greatly figure, but still very chunky compared to the sf2 sprite

Alright, I'm gonna say it: I hate all the faces in all of the figures, they're all ugly to me, I don't understand why they sculpted great bodies, but the faces are terrible. Otherwise, great figures, Jada is absolutely crushing it.
