About Youngsang Cho
Youngsang Cho is Organic Farmer. Cho learned Natural Farming from his father Hankyu Cho(Korea Natural Farming, KNF) who advocated environmental agriculture since the 1960s. Cho family has been organic farming for the third generation. Cho served in 706 special forces and graduated from Aju University (Bachelor, Chemistry) and Chungnam National Uni (Master, Horticulture). Cho has entered the Ph.D. course from the Department of Agricultural Biology at Chonbuk National University. Cho started organic agriculture in 1989. Through decades of practice and research, he created a new Ultra-Low-Cost organic agriculture system based on his father's farming and Asian traditional farming. He founded “JADAM” in 1991. In 2022, JADAM's membership exceeded 80,000.

I'm from India 🇮🇳...... really impressed with your great work Our ancestors used to do farming using Desi cows (Indian indigenous cows), both fertilizer and pesticides are made naturally using cow dung and urine and able get good crop out of it. But sadly this culture is almost disappeared now ☹️

This is actually quite related to Masanobu Fukuoka's technics which is great for me. I believe in the wisdom nature has gathered for millions of years and the key skill that some or most of the farmers have lost is observation and experimentation by them selves. I made it but I also included Mustered Cake in it and I then today itself fed it to my plants. Suddenly after watching this video I got to know that you've restricted Mustered Cake from plants. When you first start, there are no leaves and stems, so do it.

Why would the microbes in a forested area near me contain the combination I need for tomatoes or peppers I want to grow at home? Wouldn't I need to take leaf mold from under a tomato or pepper tree for it to be correct?

If you have a tomato colony that has grown in the wild for decades or more, there will be more microbes out there. However, if there is no such place, I think it is better to save the microbes from nearby forests.

That was my hangup too...But if you kept thinking about it like me; you are probably trying it too and understanding it differently. It's not about your cultivar, it's about how well we can acclimate it to biome it exists in... Evolution and adaptation perhaps.

I think part of the advantage of forest leaf mold is that the surface becomes somewhat sealed and anaerobic which is the environment we want. Grassy or garden soil is more aerobic.

As much as I deeply respect your work here and it is clear you have cut through the deception of multiple giant agricultural institutions and corporate conglomerates that loom over the modern farmer worldwide! I have to be honest that I do not share the view of Good and bad being inextricable. I believe Good exists in a world where bad also exists but they are not equivalent as without Good there would be nothing at all and that God turns even bad for Good (putrefaction and fermentation toward food). I disagree greed is good because what you describe as agricultural greed is what is found in Genesis as a command to be fruitful and multiply. It would seem you are pointing to evidence that man is designed to do well with agriculture (manure making machine) and that we can do much better if we stop listening to people who do not care very much for their blessings (greed).

@@bbingtube that's interesting but the problem is in nature there is killing and harvesting of the weak or injured. It would be incorrect to view Christianity as a local cultural religion. Many people around the world are familiar with the Shepard who goes after the 1 lost sheep instead of the others that aren't in any trouble. I am very thankful for this man who has done a similar thing.
