2nd year student electrical....definitely you should....the hostel might have the ragging or whatever is on news, but the campus area is completely free of all that and research is one of the best in the country...also approx 50 professors are among the top 2% scientists in the world

Is jadavpur university safe for outsider girls especially from northern states,actually I heard about ragging and open drinking and smoking culture of students and teachers inside the campus

I am a Jadavpur University's student..... here there are engineering, bsc, and ba courses available for graduation.... the engineering students are never involved in any sorts of ragging.... ragging is done by the ba and bsc students...

true man these two did address ragging question properly and started diverting infact started praising seniour about their struggles, freedom, responsibility, fees. It feels are like they are hiding something. Keep in mind they themselvers are 4th year students. Its the job of college authorities to make stricter rules and regulation so that ragging doesnt happen but As stated by these two most faculty are exstudent of jadavpur and i think they believe ragging is ok so they wont do anything about it.

Jiyo JU..it creates great people..awesome in skills like degrees in ragging, bullying, canvassing, political outraging, fight to rights for open drinking and please don't ask for IDs..

Clearly shows your jealousy....didn't include the research(not in weed) and top class education offered....and also yes most of the students have worked day and night to get to here...maybe you didn't manage, it's ok, not everyone has everything in life but don't be jealous
