just a reminder that the new mode has new mods included that increase status damage. The rifle one gives punch through as well so. For tenet glaxion it might be vital

@Tyrin118 I mean, as long as you have either heat, electric, toxic, or blast on the weapon as those are increased by elementalist mods. I would suggest a blast build as you can put corrosive on it as well, which makes it really strong. Though, if I was to suggest something, it would be either a kuva nukor or tenet cycron with magnetic and the new arcane that increases dmg to overguard

You can put shivering contagion on your sentinel weapon and it'll work as normal

Blast does scale with elemental mods which is also why it might be stronger than gas in some instances

Yeah, I found out after recording. That's why I said not to quote me on that, because I wanted an easy out. The way it's worded is just weird, since it states base damage.

@@Einzweig STATUS DAMAGE is NOT elemental damage. Status is separate from Damage types. It literally says Status Damage. You know how the damage you do to an enemy is modified by its faction type, infested take increased modified damage to heat wheres KUVA Grineer resist it and take .5x? That DAMAGE after all modifiers outputs the status proc DOT damage. Its not complicated.

@@WhatWillYouFind Firstly, you need to relax my guy, you're coming off as a real jackass. The reason I thought blast wouldn't be affected by elemental damage bonuses is because it states it as being based off base damage in the game, which is uninfected by physical or elemental bonuses. Even the wiki says that it isn't taking elemental/physical bonuses into account. I have no idea what you're on about, as I never said anything about the faction multiplier or anything like that. I made a very simple mistake that I admitted to being wrong about, and I had originally even said that I wasn't sure, and to take my words with a grain of salt. You coming in here and being a snarky PoS isn't helping anyone. I suggest you find something better to do with your time.

Ngl i would rather take heat for my glaxion and just get blast corrosive as the magnetic is not worth as it only gives aptitude 40% more damage compared to the cd cc or a regular damage mod you can slot instead of having to use 2 mods to make blast, you can also make a viral heat build with heat

@@JonathanJ159 Magnetic is doing more than just adding an element for aptitude, it gives you the magnetic status proc. After the Jade Shadows update, the magnetic status proc now affects damage dealt to both shields and overguard, being 100% at one stack and 325% at 10 stacks, which is extremely nice. On top of that, it also now makes an electric explosion when breaking shields or overguard, which just gives even more damage.

@@Einzweig yeah it does but just doing more damage will help in more in most scenarios same with the electric proc it will at most just at 40% since blast is already enough cc which again will be not as good as just cc/cd or serration with aptitude

I went with merciless, hammer shot and bladed rounds instead of rime rounds and malignant force(my valence bonus is heat, so plenty blast damage)

Dont use deadhead on blast builds. You will almost always get your kill via a blast proc because its the largest portion of your DpS, and the arcane wont be triggered. Gas still weak without armor strip and/or viral.

@@FerunaLutelou I've been using deadhead with blast and I've not had any problems getting stacks for it. I can understand that on paper it sounds like it wouldn't work well, but in game I find it to be quite nice.

That showcase looked like a struggle. I don't find blast good without grouping, instead mag viral ele/ mag viral slash wo strip seems to melt

@@antonk2157enemies tend to be closer in mission than in the simulacrum, and I also had no viral or armor strip. Blast is just easy to use and leaves the armor strip and viral to be sourced from somewhere else, which is very easily done.

I feel the guns needs a base damage mod when you use an arcane not giving base damage. Loosing out on a lot of damage.

The base damage mod is gun CO, it's additive on Tenet Glaxion.

Melee is now even more broken, like you slap electric blast and pair it with melee influence and you got a nuke wand or the new arcane that puts more stacks of status effects when enemies are knocked down or lifted

What kind of build is this on your hildryn

@@gerferies I just had a basic tank build on her, nothing really noteworthy. High shields, adaptation, arcane barrier, arcane aegis, and eclipse for the DR version.

A little advice, probably a little bit conter-intuitive, but I would recommend to replace barrier with steadfast and make your strength exactly 328% or higher with corrosive projection as your aura. Strips all armor, makes your casts free most of the time and helps with balefire charger damage. Sorry for my random nitpicking, I just really enjoy playing Hildryn.

try corro and blast and 2 green corro shard or armor strip , it will be faster kill

use vile acceleration instead of primed shred the punch through does nothing for you and you get less fire rate

I explained and showed that punch through does in fact do stuff for you. Not only does it give your main beam the ability to hit more targets, but it also enables a second beam chain.

Punch through helps beams that chain like the amprex and glaxion hit more enemies
