The Jadeja are an community originating in India who claim to be descended from the mythological Krishna and thus to belong to the Yaduvanshi Rajputs, who in turn form a part of the Chandravanshi (Lunar Dynasty).

Yah jadeja,chudasama,bhati,jadon,jadhav,wodiyar are all yadauvanshi Rajput of chandravanshi lineage.... yaduvanshi rajput and yaduvanshi ahirs are different.. yaduvanshi rajput belong to lord Krishna's direct lineage while ahirs started using yadav in 1910.... ahirs use yadav because they are worshiper of lord krishna n lord krishan second parents yashoda and nand baba were ahirs... yadauvansh clan got its name by chandravanshi king Maharaja Yadu. Lord Krishna was born in his family. Even the supreme court has not accepted ahirs as kshtriya lineage they are still considered as gwalas
