Metallic Mandala tutorial for rock painting | Stop Paint Runs!

Gravity often makes my dots on the edge of the rock run. Remember my Purple Passion video where I just let those jokers run? Then that video where I wound up sitting with the dots and swirling the paint with my dotting tool. Ugh! NO MORE! LOL, at the first hint of a paint run I'm getting out the Liquitex! OMG... I'm laughing because I just read that and I actually sound like a commercial! hahahaha! I've had this in a drawer for some time now and I braved it today! It worked and didn't effect the color or sparkle of my metallic paint. See what you think. I hope you enjoy this Metallic Mandala Tutorial! I put a link to this on my ARt Desk!
I love the way this Mandala turned out! It's just gorgeous to me. I like how the center looks when I turn it. It really does kind of look like an old airplane propeller in the movies. Do you like it on this rock or the rock at the end? I think I like both. See you guys Sunday!!

@@JaDeLRocks I love looking back at my paint journey. I have saved a couple of my first mandalas. The lines are so thick, no top dots, sloppy dots but I love them because I tried something different. I have always dot painted but used to paint picture frames or wall switches. Twenty years later, people are painting mandalas on everything!!!

@@dalebates1523 holy cow! Mine took 4 I think. I used that decoart Americana. I just bought some folk art Matte white which is giving it a run for its money. If we were smart we’d look into spray paint 😂😂😂

I use a watercolor pencil to make the marks.. so when my paint is completely dry I take a wet cotton swab and gently wipe away each mark. All of the supplies I use are on my website www.jadelrocks.com just check the art desk. The pencil maybe listed in the description. Good luck.. 🤞🏻

Back when I used a regular pencil I painted over them. The watercolor is so much easier.
