Brian Kelly is a good football coach and there is no doubt about it. However, the biggest lie is that he is an elite or great football coach. He is not! He is a media darling and overrated because he comes from a family of politicians and is a lifelong politician at heart. He knows how to play the media, manipulate the situation and brainwash people into believing his narrative. Kelly knows how and what to say about certain things. It took long enough, but a lot of ND fans finally start to see through him. He has never won an NCAA national championship and I don't think he ever will! What he is now doing at LSU, he did at Notre Dame. In fact, he had better results at Notre Dame! Marcus Freeman is already proving Kelly, all the media and people he convinced about the recruiting, resources etc... at ND wrong. Marcus Freeman has already at the very least, recruited just as good of classes as Kelly has recruited at LSU. In fact, I would argue that Freeman has recruited better classes at Notre Dame, then Kelly has recruited while being at LSU. I believe Freeman's results will continue to prove Kelly wrong!
