I’m pretty sure any 2 kids who can sing on key would be able to make this song. The Smith family can afford to hire the best producers, songwriters, and engineers which can lead nearly anyone to make a decent song. And let’s be real it’s not like this is groundbreaking in terms of lyrics (the lyrics are simple af btw), content, or sound lmao. If it wasn’t for the beat this song would be complete shit, no cap. I’m not saying that Jaden and Willow are talentless but y’all are hyping them up OD like they some prodigies or some shit... when in reality any kids who have basic singing/rapping skills (and Jaden and Willow are even more advantaged cause they grew up with a musical background and all that shit) can do this if they had the budget Jaden and Willow have. If they did everything on their own it would be one thing, but they have a literal team behind them guiding them every step of the way. Now take 2 kids from the gutter, no money, no connections, no privileged musical background and have them create a song of this caliber- then I’ll be amazed and on their jocks like all you other easily impressed motherfuckers LOL.
@dodie34124 жыл бұрын
Dank Sinatra it’s true that they have a lot of money and advantages, but think about all the kids who ALSO had a lot of money and advantages who tried getting into music and sucked, like paris hilton, kim kardashian, aaron carter, etc. they definitely have better opportunities because of their connections and wealth, but i think they also worked their asses off to perfect their sound and be able to keep their career going.
@markyouneva78404 жыл бұрын
@@dodie3412 well said. also, as an audiophile and someone who is interested in purely good music, I judge the music on itself with its lyrics, melody, arrangements, concept, subject matter, creativity, etc and it's really irrelevent what privelege or resources the artist had at their disposal, since many have a lot of resources and produce unimaginative music and even more have little means and also produce platinum selling music.
@realpoetics4 жыл бұрын
@@dodie3412 Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian were born rich but NOT into musical families like the Smith dynasty. Paris Hilton's family got their money from hotels and Kim Kardashian's family got their money from defending OJ. And they're not primarily musicians either, they're models. Those are piss poor analogies. Aaron Carter, yes, but you've listed the exception, not the norm. Most kids born into rich, musical families end up being great musicians if that's what they want to focus on as their career- think Bob Marley's kids, Robin Thicke, Liza Minelli, the Jackson family, Prince, Nancy Sinatra, Quincy Jones III- and how could they not? All throughout their lives they've been surrounded by the best teachers, music industry figures, etc. This is a good song and Jaden and Willow are talented but they're nothing special. Add in the fact that they've been exposed to this music and training since they were babies and it's even less impressive. If Jaden and Willow were halfway as talented as the people I listed earlier or their genre contemporaries such as Kanye, Drake, Rihanna, The Weeknd, Frank Ocean, etc. I wouldn't even care about their backgrounds. But they're not. They've had 1000x more advantages than you or I growing up and they're still not anywhere near the level of these artists. And before you say "all those people you named are a lot older and have had time to develop their careers", I'll choose younger artists. People like Roddy Ricch, Juice WRLD (RIP), Post Malone, Lil Uzi Vert, NBA Youngboy, Lil Baby, A Boogie, the list goes on and on, make much better music and they're all around the age of the Smith kids.
@Princess_Casey_7 жыл бұрын

I just found this song and it hit me so hard. I know no one will probably read this but this is a way for me to vent and get some peace of mind somehow. I met a guy at sycamore beach when I was driving down the pch and missed my exit to Matador. We met by mere coincidence. It was the perfect night. It was my birthday too so drove to cali from vegas. There I was lighting up sparklers for myself to celebrate and eating seafood by the sea while my 2 friends explored the beach. Everything was aligned. The sunset on the horizon, the moon, the sea, the stars and the literal fireworks because it was right after 4th of july. It was like time stopped right then and there. Nothing was rational but everything made sense. Then this stranger came and talked to me and from there I had the most amazing moments I have ever lived and also the most painful memories. It was very short lived and I went through so much pain with this person. Now I'm afraid nothing will ever be as amazing as this meeting was. It was like a movie. This song touched me.

🙆🏽♂️I totally feel that. Something similar or even better can happen if u allow it. As painful as it might be let it go and know that you will receive something even better. Your a creator trust your❤️

Don’t worry sometimes life can be like that...but sometimes you have to remember that there is always something better to come😊😊

@@rin6435 better seems so far off but maybe 🥰 I'm doing better now. Those were some dark dark days. And for anyone who reads this going through heartbreak, allow time to heal you. Healing isn't linear there will be days when you will feel pain still and wonder if you're still in love with that person and your heart will ache but know that it'll get better if you allow it 💜

FrnnkEducation are they the cool kids though. There just those alternative kids that people walk by and make fun of cuz of their style and weirdness. But thanks to will they are well known if that makes them cool then alright just stating how it is. I actually like them so don't take what I'm saying as negative just saying how it is. Not sure what ur definition of "cool kid" is lol

no offense but Prince saying what he said adds no value to the intrinsic truth of the matter, that this is a good song. or at least to most of us. anyway all am saying is how is Prince's word better than your own?
@whizzdoomproductionz8 жыл бұрын
Thulani Edward Masondo Bro I appreciate that u appreciate the song.But dont ever equate people who eat and sleep their craft 24/7 with us consumers, they dream music,they smell music,they cook music,they have nightmares about music thats why they can create it and we cant.We can only listen and dance but they give birth to it through endless hours in studios some dont sleep or even forget to eat while crafting a song so definitely Prince is the Maker of music so he always had every pore of his skin listening for something new and unique and he can develop it or mould it to become better or a masterpiece...but what can u and I do?Only listen and argue...thats our speciality.So yeah our word and his word are different.
@thulaniedwardmasondo22808 жыл бұрын
whizzdoom but we don't help hearing good music.. all am saying is follow talent.. the industry is killed by politics... because so and so recommends such and such

Same dude. And when it’s over I just want to cry because I’m not there. Takes me to a place where I’m happy, yet sad. A place where I belong, where it’s perfect all the time, but heartbreak happens everytime. It’s a mix of amazing as shit and depressing as shit.

Growing up with the best resources can be a great way to propel a person towards the quest of self discovery willow and Jayden are fortunate enough to have had that push early in their lives which is why they are so innovative which some describe as being weird but I prefer to use the term eccentric I am somewhat unconventional but I have not had the advantages that they have had but I have formed my ideology from movies books dictionaries and all which have helped me harness my perceptive abilities but I wish willow and Jayden and their entire family lots of happiness peace and even more prosperity don't ever lose your divine spark

Why do we give fame to those who don't deserve it? These are two highly talented and intellectual kids who happen to be kids of celebrities which we judge them off of, yet they prove anyone who hears their music wrong. The future of music if we choose to show them the love they deserve.

Do any of y’all wonder why we “connect” to certain songs? The amazing thing about music isn’t that it “puts” us in certain moods, it just puts us in touch with what we already felt, eventhough we may not realize it. Best of luck to all you all and stay safe❤️
