This inverted 'battle training' fight is accurate for a serious and quirkless izuku and izuku's choices goes along with his character; now that he got his revenge against the bully next is against the Fallen Hero. I'm guessing since he's playing strategy he would point out all might weakness on his stomach and would fight the other UA students to keep them busy while All Might fights the nomu, shigaraki, and Korugiri.
