You can cheese any slime boss with the crown and offhand slime to be immune and the fire rings that cause fire on hit, I use a crossbow and it never agros the boss slime.

If you go to the Clay zone to get tin find water. Start fishing and get a Yellow Blister head fish. When cooked with anything else it will make you immune to the slime slow down for 10 minutes. The Green Blister head does the same thing but for acid (used for the purple puddles for Ivy fight? Haven't made it that far yet lol).

Purple slime is poison and there u have acid in hive biome,from the description i would think the acid its for hive biome

I use the king slime crown and ivy's pants and chest on my rogue build, upgrading their item levels as high as I can of course. With the gardening talent that gives me a chance to poison on hit and a fast dagger I get up to 75% crit chance with it proc'd. And with the massive crit damage they give, my galaxite dagger crits for 1700 non stop. Truly insane dps but you are up close and personal.

I think the decimal point on getting the cipher from Igneous is in the wrong place. 21% is well out, more like 2.1% 31 attempts before getting one.

@@Swahzeyyou get them from the cloaked merchant, which you can summon after beating Ghorm the Devourer. It’s called “giant slime summoning idol” and it’s used to respawn every slime boss. Just place the idol on whichever slime boss rune you want to summon.

As some have mentioned just wear the Slim Crown and offhand and you become the king slime meaning bosses and small slimes don't aggro. You can kill them with ranged weapons. Not only does this make it very easy to kill but is an excellent way of levelling up pets. Any new pet you get will level up to 7 with just one kill of the lava slime boss for example.
