I love the Old Kingdom books (similarly to your case, I read the first three without knowing anything about them because my best friend raved about them), and Garth Nix is one of my auto-buy authors. We tend to have similar feelings about books we have in common, so I'm hopeful that you'll enjoy Sabriel.

Good luck with these priority reads. I hope you manage to get through all of these and have fun doing so. I believe I've read The Lies of Locke Lamora, but I hated it so much I didn't finish it. However, you and I have extremely different tastes so I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I can't wait to see the results of this video. LOL I'm hoping you manage to squeeze all of these into January so we can see what happens with this video sooner than later.
