I always run to God and Day6 whenever I feel down, and it makes me feel guilty that I forget them and thank them sometimes whenever everything goes right. It's so hard to stan Day6, they make me emotional everytime since 2016

I dont really believe in a god. I was forced from a very young age to go to church twice a week. I took CCD. I even took so many credits in theology classes that I could receive an associates if I go back and talk to a counselor. When I was a kid, not a day did I ever think people around me actually thought they were talking to a higher power. I thought it was a metaphor. However some of the people I love most in my life are religious and I have a deep reverence for people who can surrender themselves to something larger than themselves. I could go full reddit debate bro and ask "well how many people do you think prayed for their lives and died living on the street, a broke musciain." This is a phenomena called survivorship bias. I think he needed someone, anyone to tell him they had control, and things will work out. For him it was NEVER a question of if, only when. He has a 1 in a billion kind of voice and I will explain why. He has one of THE BEST timbres ive ever heard in a light lyric tenor(i say this as one myself whose extended upper register did not develop correctly because my teacher didnt catch it early enough.) He has the most consistently full tone with very smooth diction and his breath control is unreal. TBH I think DAY6 supressed his stardom by catching him when he was desperate. Outside of opera you do not hear D5 E5 F5 high notes so bright and clear. I cannot stress how many vocalists struggle to traverse that d5-f5 part. Jimin is a light lyric and he doesnt touch anything beyond C5(most light lyric artists dont). Truly if there is a god he gave him the closest voice to an angel. People who have light lyric voices know how finnicky and unique the mechanisms are that produce that sound. SO many things had to go right for him to naturally be able to belt Titanium with an even tone and transition from mixed to extended mixed. Developing that mechanism takes two years of specialized excercises and I dont know if HE knows he has this unique kind of voice (also called tenore di grazia) but his teacher DEFINATELY did. Often they are confused for either high baritones or dramatic tenors. However at the G#4-A4 the voice flips into a very falsettoy tone that sounds very weak. But if practice connecting it and strengthening it is done, it extend all the way up to D5, and then that is where the widest ranged tenors have to use reinforced falsetto. But light lyrics have ANOTHER extension up. He goes all the way to F5 which effectively makes him a male alto. The major problem is that mechanism relies so much on what youre eating, breathing, proper technique, and because its so high it resonates in your nasal cavities sometimes which deafens you to pitch,

I think this is probably not what you were talking about but i still wanna say: Rather than Day6 suppressing him, I think it's more important to note than Day6 itself wasn't suppressed thanks to Jae. I think fate would have worked out very differently for them if Jae never started with them. And about his teacher, didn't he meet his vocal teacher/trainer after joining JYPE? I think I remember seeing somewhere that he wasn't trained when he went on that competition program called "KPOP STAR"
@M-ez9uy3 ай бұрын
@@madkmadk6809he had been a trainee in Jype for several years from 2012 until debut. Jype recruited him as a trainee after he won the kpopstar contest.
