Brilliant crisis managing actions by JD. 1. as soon as he saw marines approaching his base, he did not pull back his mutas, rather he evacuated all his drones immediately to sunken-protected base. 2. he pinpointed SCVs to prevent bio reinforcements and choose not to go all over Terran structures. 3. sent 1 drone to 6 oclock to prevent elimination he could have lost the game if he had directly engaged the bios with mutas or had pulled back his mutas.

phatbengt thing is Jaedong was ahead in base, the MM ball was big. A straight up engagement would lose all Mutas. However T has little chance to win against Mutas and muster enough force against 5 Sunken colonies.

Muta squad vs a couple marines... what was Terran doing that his macro fell behind so hard? Teching to his one dropship? Terran basically just watched the mutas pick his marines apart while he ran them into sunkens. Why would he not reposition away from the sunkens and then bait the mutas into overcommitting? Sure, it's Jaedong, but stimmed marines still move faster and outrange mutas.
