Thanks a bunch Tim for another excellent review. I've had an eye or two on the Master Compressors for a while now. Apart from the Extreme World which is a true monster at 46.5mm ∅ this Geographic is my favorite. Gonna pick one of these up in a couple weeks. Keep it up!

Hey, did you ever get it?

Do these dials look as good as the newer models with 35 layers of lacquer etc etc. Thanks!

Hi Tim, this is the one you meant as a JLC alternative to the RDM :-) Great review, as always! Cheers from Germany Daniel

+Daniel T. Müller Hi Daniel, yes indeed, this is the one! On a rubber or textile strap (or bracelet), this is like an RDM that can go anywhere. The Geographic feature is a JLC original and quite useful. Right now, I think this is a wonderful choice since the market hasn't really discovered it yet, and the 2000s Master Compressors have a strong cult following within JLC online fan fora. Best, Tim

Hi Tim, I’ve inherited one of these pieces - how would one remove the strap?

Hi Tim, do you recommend the JLC Master Compressor Geographic or the Parmigiani Tonda Hemisphere (If both were the same price)? Thanks!
