I really do wish for him to hit it big in the industry. He really portrayed his role in "'Moon embracing the sun" really well. Plus he's good in variety shows. He talks well. He's a good actor and handsome too. I dont know why directors and scriptwriters are sleeping on him. They tend to cast SOME untalented idols in dramas yet ignore talented, promising actors like Jaehee

He got criticized at 'Moon embracing the Sun'? But he's really handsome! He emphasized Siwan's look in a manlier version. You wouldn't expect Gain's brother to stay baby face. duh. hahahaha! For me, he did a great job in his role, from looks to acting. He also had good chemistry with Bora. So I really don't get it why they didn't like him. :/ He's so underrated. I'll be rooting for his future films. ♥

I don't understand the criticisms about him. His character and the princess are even my favorite couple in the drama. And yes he's right that when siwan played the role the viewers' ratings got into 20% but why didn't he mentioned that the episodes after that even reached 25-46%. That was amazing.

its kind of understandable since the younger version of lee hwon and yeon woo is more fun to watch but when they got older, they then have responsibilities and the show become more serious. TBH i always rewatch episode 1 to 4 but not the whole series anymore haha.

Aww my heart goes out to him, to hear all that he'd went through and to think that I'm one of those people who have criticized him in "Moon Embracing the Sun". I'm so sorry for my immature self then. Sometimes we only know how to judge but we're not caring enough to think what the other person might be going through. I pray you all the good things in life and please if you can see this DO NOT EVER LOSE HOPE! You are really an inspiration! I tend to complain even for the little things but hearing all your struggles made me realize that a lot of people all around the world right now are fighting their own battle as well...and maybe a battle that is bigger and harder than mine.

I'm watching this 6 years later and it makes me so unhappy when fans of the show cannot separate the real actor from the characters they play in a show. He clearly did a wonderful job in the role if people are so upset. However, I want to point out that the character was not a villain. He was a good man who loved and supported his family and the woman he loves and throughout his life he was always overlooked and told not to strive for success. That's so sad.

I was also one of those people disappointed with how Jaehee looked in Moon embracing the sun (even though at the end I shipped his relationship with the princess more than the main couple). But when I saw What's with this family there was this really handsome actor that I recognized but couldn't place - I was shocked to learn that it was him! Ever since then I've realized that the historical clothing actually makes some actors... look worse >.

I think it's not his fault that he didn't fit Siwan's older brother. It's the director that made huge mistakes. I was also dissappointed when I watched the drama recently because all characters looked nothing like the younger ones. I know it's hard but they should've thought about this.
