Chef Jia..I am a great fan of yours..following your recipe gave me a whole new insight on Korean cuisine😊I live in Taipei and here pork meat sometimes has a very strong gamey smell. Could you teach us how to remedy? Thanks you are the best😊
@JiaChoiChef Жыл бұрын
I would marinate meat with a half teaspoon of ginger and a tablespoon of rice wine or cooking wine for 10 minutes, before cooking it : )

When i lived in Korea i used to go to a kind of kimbap nara place, but it only did a few dishes, one of them was very similar to this but it had cabbage and carrot...i used to love it and bought it at least twice a week! is this just jeyuk deobap? Or is it another recipe?
@JiaChoiChef8 ай бұрын
If it was a spicy-based dish, then yes, I assume it's the same dish. They might have added a little bit of cabbage and carrot, which go well with the spicy pork over the rice.. : )

What can i use instead of pork and cooking wine?

Chicken thigh might taste delicious too! Use a bit of water instead of cooking wine😊
