Never use oyster sauce in making kimchi. You may use a little bit of soy sauce if you don't want to use fish sauce!

Great video Jia. You mentioned that the dish can be served warm - how do you do that? Can the soondubu be warmed in hot water without breaking up? Curious because I wish to serve this warm. Thanks!

Cut the tofu into one and a half or two inches thick, a bit thicker than when it's served cold. Then cook it in the microwave oven for 1min 30 seconds to 2 minutes (700 Watts). Sundubu or silken tofu is very soft and they easily break, so cut it carefully. I hope you make it successfully! : )

I really hope it was an editing thing, but you said to cook for 5 minutes, then you showed getting a spoonfull of the broth and taste testing it. 😨 For anyone very new to cooking, chicken needs to cook much longer than 5 minutes before you check the flavor of anything the chicken is touching.
