Great update! Notice how your Carplay is so much dimmer/grey than the Jaguar screens? It's a bug with the iPhone. In sequence, press vol up, vol down, hold lock button until apple logo/reboot. Then on restart when you try carplay again it'll be more vibrant!

you need to have a vin that has JCK in it for this to work, it also needs lots of coding so you cant just throw the screen in!!

Fantastic video. I've been eyeing this upgrade for a while and it's nice to see it being done live. I'd like to know how different this is to the same screen being installed from factory. I understand Mo hasn't yet worked out how to keep dual climate controls, is this true? The bit about losing Climate, is that also the same if you got it like this fresh out of the dealership? One point to note is you can install the car play only, but the module is in a different place on the newer cars that's all.

Yes you love dual climate, something I have never altered in my cars anyway! It’s the exact same JLR screen!

Go to lr-retrofits.com and look at the upgrades for an f-type, for the 10” screen, your F-Type needs to have JCK in the last eight characters on the VIN.
