Thanks. This was a fun and fairly quick project. Much easier than a scratch build. 😅 How have you been? Working on any instrument projects?

@@CircuitsAndStrings I have about everything I need. Now I'm learning woodwind. I bought an alto clarinet.

Nice job with the makeover! I also really like those harmonic whammy bends you did. Was your GMF like mine, where you had to shim the neck like 9,000 inches higher and take down the nut slots?? Or was your action already fine out of the box?
@CircuitsAndStrings Жыл бұрын
I didn’t have to shim the neck, but I did make the nut slots a little deeper.

Great work thanks for sharing! Trying to figure out a way to put some p90s in this thing. I wonder if any of the amazon mustang p90 pickguards would work with modifications.

I bet the Amazon pickguard would work with some mods. The part near the bridge and control plate would need the most changes.

Wow nice, for just spraying the paint it looks pretty good, not too shiny, not too dull. How were the frets when you got it? Fret sprout? Sharp edges?

Thanks, the paint job turned out pretty good for basic hardware store spray paint. The fretboard was in great condition. I did not have to do any sanding to the fretboard.
