Right, because BB can now travel through hatches and is a 1 speed with a dash to help him traverse. It's insane how Oryx being able to breach soft walls makes him OP. Oh, wait, but it doesn't - the dash is hardly ever being used for breaching. It's his insane speed and mobility that make him a top tier roamer and BB ain't gonna have that.

You are talking about speed and mobility like this is a wwe game 😂😂😂. Buddy oryx is a 2 speed just like BB so calm down. No one uses his dash to run around the map and breaching is the only useful aspect of the dash. And saying he is a top tier roamer when he has one of the lowest pick rates in the defensive side is insane. Unless your copper to silver and think the game revolves around these ranks. And what type of speed and “mobility😂” does oryx have that Blackbeard will not? Both are two speed and both will have a dash. But we certainly needed another breacher on attack as if ash Zofia buck sledge ram Flores and breaching charges weren’t enough. Just in case you didn’t catch it this last part was also sarcasm.

Buck is vertical softbreacher, better gun, no shield, hardbreach Gadget. Shotgun Looks like Blackbeard got a shield so he can horizontal softbreach and has a ass gun and probably just a shield with no gun in hand

Buck just like the hard breachers, Thermite opens the biggest hole but takes a bit of time and needs to be close range, Ace opens a medium hole but he's extremely fast and can get it from medium range, Hibana can open multiple hatch or tiny holes in exchange for extremely slow,she can do it extremely far and all at once. So buck can instantly switch back to his fun and continue the fights, he does it medium range and extremely fast and can open multiple walls, BB need to get close to the wall, break it block the shots trying to protect the team, if your team wins you push if not you'll get overwhelmed by the opponent.

Of all the reworks they could have done to make him viable again, in a meta dominated by shields and other ops who are top fragging with support ops. Ubisoft in their infinite wisdom made BB a shield op. Great job Ubisoft . You are incapable of rational thoughts. E: I’m now officially just not gonna play anymore. Ubisoft sucks, the players suck, the balancing sucks.

It almost sounds like they wanted to make Blackbeard viable, so they REWORKED HIM TO FIT IN THE CURRENT META. Crazy thought, I know -.- It's a completely rational thought on their end: to boost pick rate, you need to make the operator fit into the meta. Shields dominating meta? GIVE HIM A SHIELD. They literally did what they thought was the best possible way to allow him a place in the meta, so I don't see what inane line of reasoning you had here. It might not be the most well-received change, but it's their way of giving him a spot. Unless you've got a better idea to make him viable in today's meta that ISN'T making him a shield operator, in which case, PLEASE share your 'infinite wisdom' that Ubisoft doesn't have. If you don't have a fix to the "problem" _in the videogame_, quit complaining and start trying to make a better solution. Ubisoft may make shit decisions, but at _least_ they make decisions and come up with ways to improve the game, unlike you and everyone else who just complains about things without offering any ways to make the problem better.
