you are right but Jagjit's rendition has put Ghalib's ghazals on common man's tip of tongue, because the Urdu language in Ghalib's poetry is not so easy to utter, but in the form of ghazal it has made it come alive, at least that's how I feel about it. Agree with Sajid Rafique.
