As a UK based Jag fanatic, I can say if I came across a Jag in that condition and especially a none runner, it would have been worth a low ball bid. The seller is oblivious to what it is and seemed uninterested. Worth an offer at least young man. I would urge you to ring the seller to see if he still has it and then hit him with an offer.

As I watched this I could feel your anticipation of owning her again however time takes it toll and the thing about Jags you have to love them which you do. For me this episode bought back memories of my first Jag a Mk. 10 a beautyful car I maintained and babied her but the price of petrol back in the early 70s kept going up and up and puched me to sell her and I regretted it as she was driven away. Now my XJS is almost ready Tim my Jag man has been waiting on parts from the UK. I cannot wait to get behind the wheel soon. Sorry the Jag you went see was not up to par life can be dissapointing but something is always on the horizon I love watching your videos and your love of the big cats best wishes Andy.

Given it is 17 years later and the car has been used for a everyday runner for the last few I thought it was still in reasonable condition. As the rear seats were worn/cracked and the front OK I assume the fronts were either recovered or under seat covers. I know what it is like to find an car you have previously owned and it is not in the condition you expect - however these things happen. Great channel, as a Jag owner I know what a great car they are - well at least the older ones.

Yeah shes still not to far gone. The front seats have been recovered and in vinyl . They were done before I bought it and have held up well considering

Hello I got a haircut and got it running with a battery, but I did the Fuel pump I had the spark plugs, leads and coil replaced just as maintenance and service etc and it is running really good and smooth, I decided to keep and drive it daily

Nice car… reminds me of my old 1979 Triumph Dolomite 1850 HL in similar Chestnut Brown with a vinyl C-pillar…

I think this is the one I nearly bought about a year ago but someone beat me to it.... Probably a good thing with the benefit hindsight.

These vinyl roofs add a dash of style. Are they difficult to maintain? Anything to distinguish it from an ugly duckling modern day Tesla is good ! Peter
