WARNING! You should not put catch can line on the right side as the engine gets its air from the air mass flow meter and engine breaths and idles. . As there is no fresh air going to the engine from air intake pipe , engine will NOT START and the engine will overheat and there will be FIRE in the engine. ( this happened ). The engine is sucking its own air thus causing massive vacum inside the engine as there is no fresh air going inside . 2/ your catch can pipe on the driver side is too big diameter the engine idle will be much higher and the down shifts will be much harsh when slowing down. The driver side cam hole is 8mm to give perfect idle. These two things if you repair the car would be fine otherwise the car will not run smooth and engine fire is sure with overheating. Good luck.

I appreciate your concern and understand your point but I have never had an issue with my engine overheating, neither have I felt or has the car given me any harsh downshifts, no check engine light and fuel trims are in within reasonable specs. This setup I have on my black jagaur is also setup similiarly on my mother's jaguar and she's been running it for maybe 6 years and she has never had an issue with the car whatsoever and I'm the one who take care of the maintenance and looks after the car, etc.

@@EvanTheMenace Regarding overheating and idle speed never trust cluster gauge. Torque pro app will show high idle above 750 rpms. I wonder where the engine is getting fresh air for idle and blow by gas circulation.

​@@daimlerdoublesix9523 Of course, the temperature gauge is there to give an approximate analog display of whether the thermostat has opened or not and/or reach operating temperature. I'm familiar with the torque app but I don't have or use the app/the OBD Device but I have monitored the idle speed with my autel scanner to see how it idles (I don't remember off the top of my head). The jaguar has given me no issues with idling, no surging and it shifts and accelerates smoothly. I drive this car to work and it runs perfectly. You make it sound like my engines going to blow up and explode.. 🥲

@@EvanTheMenace We run a jaguar dealer shop in Tokyo Japan and by chance saw your video and got concerned. But just be careful as the engine is not getting any fresh air and the other end of the pvc pipe is connected to the gas tank vapour ventilation system. Jaguar engineers spent too much time to sort this out after hundreds of trail and error and you outsmart all of them.If this set up works for you than let it be. Have a good time.

@@daimlerdoublesix9523 I honestly thank you guys for watching the video and letting me know of your concerns. I very aware that the engineers who build these cars put intensive thought and did extensive research behind every detail that is present on the vehicle. I myself is not by any way or chance trying to reinvent the circus wheel. All that catch can is doing is catching/filtering any excessive oil before recirculating back into the system. From my experience, I've noticed it doing its job just fine. No issues with idle, engine overheating, enging pinging/knocking, surging, bucking, white smoke or black smoke coming from tail pipe, etc. Overall, my Jaguars been good to me! I'll keep your advice in mind as it is important and I'll make sure to use it if I do run into any issue. ✊🏻💯
