Jaguar XK8 project #12 steering wheel restoration & general catch up

I always think it’s a good idea to have darker mats than your carpet so they don’t look dirty as quickly. I got some great ones in dark green for my racing green XKR (with the single eyelets). That steering wheel came up beautifully. Every time we see this car it keeps getting better

Looks great. I did this on my driver's seat bolster in my Lexus GX (2014) with 95K on it. So much gratification for such easy work. Gotta love those sorts of jobs! Also this is the only color of XK8 that rivals green in my eye.

I've got leather wear on my steering but I got steering wheel cover to protect the wood parts from sun damage during summer time.

One of the good things about owning a Jag is that you're never short of things to suggest as birthday / christmas presents. Currently looking for a late XK8 convertable to partner with my 2010 (spectrum blue) XK coupe. Could I ask the colour of yours please?
