Today, I am presenting with you a royal dish from Mugali cuisine, Jahangiri Korma. Korma is a dish that originated in the Mughal period. The word 'Korma' derives from the Urdu word Quorma, which means braise in curd. So after its invention, lots of Kormas were created out of goat and bird meat. Royal kitchens enhanced these dished and served them before the royal court. Jahangiri Korma is one of these dishes. Mutton Jahangiri Korma, I have already posted in the beginning days of my channel. Today, I am cooking Jahangiri Murgh Korma out of chicken. So let's get into it.

Ingredients:
500 grams of chicken, 1 big-sized onion, 3 green chilies, 1 piece of ginger, 6-7 cloves of garlic, a bunch of coriander leaves, 100 grams of yogurt(whisked), A big-sized onion slices fried until brown, 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds, 10-15 peppercorns, 4-5 cloves, 1 green cardamom, 1 black cardamom, 1 bay leaf, 3-4 whole dry red chilies, 1 piece of cinnamon, 1 tablespoon of coriander powder, salt as per taste, 1/2 tablespoon of ground cumin, 1 teaspoon of Garam Masala, 2-3 tablespoons of onion oil, 1 tablespoon of Kashmiri chili powder.
(500 ग्राम चिकन, 1 बड़े आकार का प्याज, 3 हरी मिर्च, 1 टुकड़ा अदरक, 6-7 लहसुन की कलियाँ, धनिया पत्ती का गुच्छा, 100 ग्राम दही, एक बड़े आकार की प्याज की स्लाइस ब्राउन होने तक तली हुई , 1 चम्मच जीरा, 10-15 काली मिर्च, 4-5 लौंग, 1 हरी इलायची, 1 काली इलायची, 1 तेज पत्ता, 3-4 साबुत सूखी लाल मिर्च, 1 टुकड़ा दालचीनी, 1 बड़ा चम्मच धनिया पाउडर, नमक के रूप में स्वादानुसार 1/2 चम्मच पिसा हुआ जीरा, 1 चम्मच गरम मसाला, 2-3 बड़े चम्मच प्याज का तेल, 1 बड़ा चम्मच कश्मीरी मिर्च पाउडर)

My non-Indian husband cooked this for us two days ago just following the subtitles. I helped him a bit on what pressure or heat settings to use per step but the rest he managed on his own. This is one of the best meals he has ever cooked for me besides his Basque seared Ahi that he makes. I am not that fluent in Hindi so had trouble understanding some of the instructions but I plan to be cooking a lot more from this channel
