I didn't expect to see you hopping on genshin but I've been playing for a while and I've got some tips for you! 1 - Never. Ever. EVER. Buy blue wishes. They are only used for the standard banner and that's permanent. Only buy the pink-ish looking wishes as they are used for the limited banners that come and go and thats where you get the the REALLY good characters. Right now I recommend saving your pink wishes for the NEXT banner as it has the BEST shielder (Zhongli) and one of the best possible dps characters in the game, Neuvilette. Spend everything you save trying to get him. For now I recommend using every blue wish you get on the beginners banner (You can get noelle which is a very good early game character as well as other 4 star characters and with a small chance maybe a 5 star) after that spend the rest of the blue wishes on standard banner. 2 - Grab as many waypoints as you can, they make things so much easier, as well as any chests. 3 - Save your fragile resin! (If you get your hands on any, they look like a little blue crescent thing) It's EXTREMELY important for artifact farming later in the game when you are trying to build characters as they allow you to gain 60 resin per fragile resin spent instead of having to spend your primos which, by the way, you should NEVER do. 4 - Every 5 AR ranks you go up in world level, this makes your drops better but also enemies harder, make sure to build up your characters to a point where current enemies are not difficult as once you go up, you can decrease your world level but you have to wait a day before changing it again. 5 - Artifacts - Early game pretty much anything works. Dont worry too much about the sets and sub-stats but if you read the characters abilities it usually tells you what main stat they need. OR a simple way is in the artifact selection screen in the top right you will see a button that says "recommended affixes", this will show you the best stat type for that piece (The 5 pieces being flowers, feathers, sands, goblets and circlets). What you should know though is for any character that is not a support, crit rate and crit damage are the best stats/sub-stats most of the time. 2 more things to help you navigate the GUI easier: In case you didn't know, if you are on pc, you can hold alt to be able to move your cursor around instead of the camera and secondly you can hold on one of the characters in your team shown on the right to change your team's characters rather than have to go through the paimon menu. And finally, take your time! Genshin is a long game, speed running through it may make you miss things or you may not get the best experience! I'll see if I can come up with any other helpful tips next time. Looking forward to it if this becomes a series!

adding to tip 1: I recommend playing the trials for each character before trying to get them so you can properly decide if you would have fun playing with them! Trials for characters currently on the limited banner can be accessed through the compass-like(?) button on the top right of your screen. (I play on mobile so idk if there is a specific key-bind for it and if so what it would be sorry!)

And another tip is if you get a higher rank to quickly the enemy’s will get stronger and you can go back so before your rank gets to high get as many boss materials as you can and trust me I had that problem

love your immersion and mood. (Assuming you continue ...) my guess is, you'll have a great playthrough. NB: the main aspects of the game are: the characters and their personalities; the magnificent open world (which becomes more magnificent as you progress into the different regions); the lore of the world (which is slight early on, but becomes more significant as you progress); and the stories of the characters and the world (which become more deep as the game progresses). Because the stories are significant, be prepared for a lot of dialogue .. especially later in the game.

I enjoyed your video, i hope you continue this series. You are doing great already too! I suggest you to mix elements together by using characters skills/ultimates then switching them to trigger elemental reactions and deal a lot more damage. (Elemental reactions are explained in Tutorials.) Later on, when you get more characters, it will be useful to read characters' Talents in characters' menu to understand their abilities and role in the team. Also i suggest using pins in your map when you see something and can't do it in that moment so you can find it more easily later on. The game becomes more challenging and interesting in lore after a while. Little by little. Hope you enjoy it and keep it up!

oooh this is interesting, seeing someone play tof first before genshin, i feel like this journey is gonna be a fun one spoiler free Tips: Genshin is basically an anime you can play. It's main appeal (aside from characters of course) or focus more is on story, lore and exploration. Finding small items that mean something big in the long run, things like that. So it's easy to get burned out if you rush everything like an mmo. As the saying goes: " *Every journey has it's final day. Dont rush.* " and " *The journey itself has meaning* " edit: i know you did a psa but the reverb is taking me ouuttt

Also another tip is (I’m not the best at explain so bear with me) instead of holding the sprint button, you can tap it multiple times to go a further distance faster. Also, the taller the character is, the faster they go. I’m pretty sure the male characters are also faster. If you have trouble swimming, It’s basically the opposite, you hold the sprint button and tap the forward button rapidly. For climbing, I honestly don’t know. But some characters have abilities for exploration which can be useful.
