I swear, the way you did that "Big Arms" motif always gives me chills. And it's literally *just* because of 0:49. That note. It's got everything that makes me eargasm in it. The electronic sounding reverb? Check. Just enough "clang?" Check. Can it be used repeatedly? Check. I don't understand why, but anything that sounds like that note- heck, it could be why I love any windows remix that utilizes the BSoD sound as well. It just infatuates me. And hearing it here has just solidified this as my favorite remix. Ever.

I love this so much! It sounds way more interesting because of Robotnik's dialogue and an alarm sample that gives a sense of panic. Finally this theme actually sounds threatening and I like how the instruments are louder. I couldn't take the official version seriously since it used very tame samples and those Genesis instruments, such as the marimba and the bass, were unfitting.

Why do I feel like this would work as a really good super smash bros narrative boss theme: 0:00- 0:12 Dr Eggman gets alerted cutscene 0:12- 0:45 Sonic fights Eggman in a 3D boss fight like in modern sonic games 0:45- 1:45 Universe shifts completely to Cuphead universe, Cuphead fights cartoony Eggman 1:45- 2:25 Universe shifts again, Mario fights Eggman with robot thats morphing into a bowser like shape 2:25- 3:12 Cutscene where a battered Sonic talks with an even more battered and crazed Eggman while his facility and robot breakdown due to the universe shifts and the fighting, As Eggman attempts to fix his machine an incarnation of Zero Two appears out of the Phantom Ruby and possesses Eggman and his machine as the facility completely breaks into a void and Kirby appears 3:12- 4:12 Kirby battles Zero Two surfing on his warp star with the star rod similar to the ending of Kirby 64 but with elements of the end of Sonic Generations 4:12- 5:18 Super Sonic tags in to finish the fight

I always felt like this boss was thrown together... lore-wise! One of Eggman's biggest problems with Sonic (And one no one ever talks about) is just how damn fast he is! It DOES take time to build his mechs. Most of what he makes is weak or falls apart mainly because he barely has time to weald a mech together before Sonic is right at his door! This entire boss feels more like something Eggman would make to just test the powers/abilities of the phantom ruby. And that was most likely what he was doing when Sonic barged in! This entire fight is just Eggman scrambling to not have everything fall apart as his test machine is spiked and spun around by a badly timed Sonic siege! This entire fight is just tapping part of the ruby's power. No wonder he needed the hard-boiled heavies. Yet, even though he is badly underprepared, he is able to put up an epic fight with Sonic. Just goes to show, Eggman would probably be unstoppable given enough time. Sonic is truly the only thing stopping him from sitting back and taking over the world. Very scary.
