It's just the law of supply and demand. It's not about "profiting" off a persons death. If someone wants something bad enough they'll pay more. If you watch a true auction you'll see that prices have increased naturally because of his death, so naturally people will list them higher because thats how a TRUE marketplace works. Prices will settle back down after demand goes down but it could be a while.

Watched Kobe since 1995, went to the slam dunk contest in 97, went to multiple games including his last here in Cleveland. It's been a hard, depressing week and I still can't believed it. I've been watching Gigi play ball for over the pass 2 years. This news was a Tyson punch to the stomach and slowly I've been getting better. I haven't cried this much in 2 years.
