I worked every day in my Kobe AD and literally was able to never take breaks and be a beast. Used it 1000+ days inside only, then since June at work and it will now last for 5 more years as a streetball shoe. Kobe AD best bball shoe of all time. I have cosmic unity too but it's obvs why Anthony Davis started using the Kobe ad mid again!

I find it funny, how they marketed the AD to have Lunarlon, when they were using Lunarlon as the drop ins for the mentality/rage line.

I somehow got my hands on a pair of twos, they're actually one of my favorite hoop shoes ever. Idk about anyone else but the forefoot was pretty flexible for me, which felt awesome, and the carbon fiber and upper also made it very supportive.

To be fair, nba players shoes get special treatment for their shoes to help play styles. So they were probably playing in an upgraded version.

It absolutely was. But with custom orthopedic insoles, and special alterations via Nike, what they wore vs what we got was not the same. Also, the performance wasn’t that bad. It was just the most boring Kobe in my opinion which is why they made the list.

It did have heel Zoom in it. But the foam was so dense that the zoom did not expand. Also, the strobel board is very, very stiff.

Kobe AD Mids were concentrating in functionality not in aesthetics. AD mids are so light that you can fly in them. Giannis rock them for years before he was given a signature line.

I always felt Lunarlon to be a cheap insole. It made the shoe light, but never thought of it as a cushion. At least put one full length zoom on one Kobe shoe! They botched the protro releases that initially said full length zoom. Why call it a protro if it’s the same as a retro? The Pegasus line has full length zoom and they’re so comfortable and goes on sale for $80. I rather wear those to ball in. The React insole / midsole on the Kobe A.D. NXT 360 was the dream cushion we should have had on all the Kobe lines.

The 7s are one of the best Kobes imo. Just was the first to experiment with the first Nike drop in midsole. You can actually feel the zoom in the forefoot and heel causally.

I agree man I think the 7’s had a lot of good but the performance was trash. One of the worst Kobe’s performance wise so that’s why I got them on this list as well as my best ever list.

I have The Kobe AD Mid in blue and orange. I have to say the grip in them was nice but i would always sprain my ankles in them so I only used them when I'm practicing and that's it!

The Nike Kobe 2 was my first Kobe ever. It wasn’t my favorite but I still have my beat to death pair of the Carpe Diem color way. I was always hoping they would protro them. So yeah, call me a Return of the Jedi guy, I guess, lol!

Kobe ad always give me foot cramp, was my first custom pair of Kobe’s and I’ve only worn them like 10 times and only lasted like 5 minutes in them

I play in Kobe 7s and I love them. I think it’s more of an opinion based thing and what you’re using them for. I use them for a 13 u aau league so it’s not like I’m just going to practice in them. It’s just my opinion but I love them. In my opinion none of Kobe’s shoes are bad some are just worse than others. R.I.P Black Mamba

The Kobe AD is the very best Kobe ever and grips like a matha even on the dustest courts and amazing foot support inside the shoe so for me easy layups and lock down defense! Everyone is different do what's best for you.

I feel when the kobe 7 when it properly broken in then it's a top kobe performer. I work at footlocker before and I know some people got busted zoom bags. Luckily didn't happen to me
