Aug last week to sep mid is a good time for ladakh for first timers. Weather remains normal, no snow, less cold, so its a good time with less risk of oxygen in case u dnt know how body will react. Season opens during May end when there is too much snow and slush and may be black ice etc but it is awesome. I have done season end timing in 2022. This video is from 2021, my first ladakh ride. I did again in 2023 during september end, that is bad time because of unexpected snowfall and rain. Gets too cold too quick. But a good adventure, so tried it out. Long boring highway hours. If u can shorten ur highway days then u get more time in the heavenly himalayas.

Hi bro, don't go in August, it will be raining and very risky with lanslides. U can plan towards august end and sept beginning or before July. In between is rainy season. For the rest, many off roads u may see in my vlogs are now tarmac roads. Only slight bit of off roads left in Leh manali route. Shyok valley is adventurous and extremely beautiful. Do check out my other series of zanskar valley which is extremely adventurous, in case u plan for that side. This series is completely about leh manali route to Northest village of india and Pangong, have a series on Zanskar snd Spiti as well. The only part I am yet to cover is Umlingla side. So some time a day with a notebook and these series is all u need for a complete plan.. ☺️✌🏻 These series cover all the risks u may face and how to mitigate them. What stops to take and what not to. Pretty much everything u want to know. Hope u enjoy watching the episodes, I have tried not to be boring 😜🤘🏼
