You know, Yu-Gi-Oh was originally just supposed to be a story about an ancient spirit that challenges people to games with death on the line. But after the card game was introduced, it shifted to only that. So there could have been an episode where the Pharoh challenges someone to a DDR battle and the looser got dropped into the Shadow Realm. And now i want someone to animate that.

2:25 yeah, especially that one time Pokemon did this... oh yes Pokemon did have a difficulty setting for those that forgot and newer fans, Pokemon Black and White 2, beat the game you unlock easy and hard mode (though... even that isn't simple and is overly complicated). However Nux not all Nintendo games do this, Fire Emblem one of Nintendo's hardest franchises, didn't get an easier mode till I think Awakening, one of the biggest most famous games with permadeath, and no it's not rogue like, you lose units they gone for good and story continues without them, you don't restart like in rogue likes from the beginning (though if you want to I suppose you could). Even then they also introduced a lunatic difficulty, you got 6 settings. Normal and classic, ok basic, normal is typical FE difficulty, classic has the permadeath neat, then you got easy which makes opponents weaker ok basic stuff, oh hey you want to be even more safe just turn on casual, units will come back at the end of each level, or phoenix they return after each round I think (woops my bad Phoenix started in Fates the 14th games, but Awakening still had the other 5)... but then you got hard mode, and even further the lunatic mode, it's not easy normal and hard, no it's normal, hard, and LUNATIC! This is one reason why I love the Fire Emblem franchise, they don't hold your hand like other Nintendo games, and true even as a FE fan can be tiring to see FE characters getting in Smash. Though I will defend most of them, Marth fine series mascot, Roy he's actually very different sharing less than 1/2 of his moves with Marth, Ike is cool, Corrin is... uses a sword but functions more like a lance character, while Byleth and Robin have a wide assortment, more so Byleth... Lucina and Chrom don't need to be there outside of they're popular though. As a FE fan though on the other hand arguing against FE characters in smash... there's SOOOO many other units you can use, armored, Pegasus/wyvern flying units, dragon units like Tiki who is an assist trophy, archers, lancers, at least 5 different types of magic, axe, thief/assassin/butler/maid/ninja with daggers and other throwing weapons, and sooo much more. The only reason everyone in Smash probably uses a sword is because well all the protagonists in every game use Swords, I think only 4 characters don't inherently use a sword at all, Hector armored axe unit (but he's one of 3 from Blazing Blade, Lyn (assist trophy and most popular female) uses one, and Eliwood (Roy's dad) does too granted he can be upgraded to riding a horse), from Sacred Stones Ephraim uses a lance... but his sister the other protagonist does use a sword, Azura from Fates, I'd say she is a main character she uses a lance, the eldest siblings Ryoma and Xander use swords as a Samurai and Paladin are protagonists depending on your version or antagonists, while Corrin THE protagonist... obviously sword/turns into a dragon, and the final one (to my knowledge, most of their games are either Japanese exclusive or super expensive, most expensive video game franchise out there... unless you emulate) is Celica, 1 of 2 main characters from Gaiden the 2nd game and its remake Echoes... but she's kind of like Robin, she mains magic and spells but gains ability to use swords. ... didn't mean to go on that tangent, point is yes I get the hate, and even as a FE fan, we completely get it, too many anime sword characters... but there are also so many other options that even though there's 8 of them in Smash, not all of them need to be sword units, there's so many options and would upset smash AND FE fans less if they dipped into those other categories more. That and despite the backlash it might get from Smash, people should give it a chance because of how much it doesn't baby players, and can't be denied because of Smash, FE would've died a long time ago, and yet due to it (and partially because other title holders almost never release games, don't hurt me Metroid, Star Fox, and Punch Out fans) it has risen to be Nintendo's 5th most sold and popular franchise, just below Kirby, Zelda, and the obvious power houses that are Pokemon and Mario. You want a game that's not going to hand, that'll bitch slap you, maybe stroke your penis a bit with all the waifus, your boobs if you're a girl plenty of husbandos, dating mechanics in most of the games, but then stab them afterwards, Fire Emblem is the game, it's not going to have under the covers dating like Pokemon with BW2's Feris Wheel, or the fireworks in XY, no some of the games you can even have children, still keeping it T for Teen you're not seeing the baby making, but it's a thing in a Nintendo game, and even afterwards the children units inherit both parents skills and upgrades, classes, etc. Granted that's only in Awakening and Fates where you can influence the children units, Binding Blade or Thracia you won't be doing this (although I've suggested to IS the company in feedback... in a remake why not push the 2 games into 1 big game with 2 parts where your decisions in part 1 affect part 2, you get Rath killed in Blazing Blade story Sue doesn't exist in Binding Blade, and I think this could also remedy the fans that weren't keen on children units... despite you know it's completely optional whether they exist or not, no ones making you take part in the dating sim aspect but whatever, and then it's also integral to the story without time travel or parallel world shenanigans like Awakening and Fates)... God damn it I went on another tangent, THIS WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE AN ESSAY, a jab at Pokemon even if I love that franchise, and maybe 1 paragraph detailing why Nintendo does have a couple franchises that won't hold your hand.

... wait... is this a Mario game that acknowledges Waluigi exists? A game that, COULD be official and make Waluigi not just in a main series Mario game, but make him a villain like his counterpart Wario in Mario Land 2... to which stemmed 2 franchises for our loveable round garlic loving weirdo, FRICKEN 2 the Wario Land/World series and the Game and Watch series... Coming from someone who tends to cover Nintendo games that never actually had a retail release and enjoying KZbinrs who do the same, I feel clickbaited. DDR Mario Mix is nice and all but calling it "cancelled" is misleading. Can you do a video on Pokemon Picross GB or Super Donkey or Super Mario 64DD? Sutte Hakkun GB would be a nice choice as well. The USA version of Special Tee Shot counts as well considering how different from the Japan-only Satellaview release it's turned out to be. And the NES SimCity, of course! N64 Dinosaur Planet is a solid choice as well...

I love game reviews by old biased fans. E.g. Kingdom Hearts, everyone's favourite physical manifestation of "What in god's name is going on?!". I love watching reviews by old fans who have been with the series from the start and played all the games (with random gimmicks on random gaming system of the day) and love the series, yet fully admit that it's hard to get into at this point a dozen games deep and that nostalgia is definitely playing a part in their opinion. Like yes, objectively the games are wacky as hell and explaining the plot to a newbie takes a week, but if you're trying to approach the unholy union of Disney and Final Fantasy objectively, where did your life go wrong? What do you mean that having a plot explanation for why Mickey had no shirt at the end of KH1 but has had one ever since is dumb? Of course it is, and that's the best part! Old fans just let it go and tell you that getting your brain broken by plot holes and time travel builds character! 🤣
