WDFC Maharashtra Progress
The Dedicated freight corridors in India are a network of broad gauge freight railway lines that solely serve freight trains, thus making the freight service in India faster and efficient.The Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India (DFCCIL) is responsible for undertaking planning, development, mobilisation of financial resources and construction, maintenance & operation of these corridors.

@@edge4367 land clearance is the biggest hurdle. India is not china that overnight land will be cleared. Here matter goes to court which will take its own time.

Kaam hojayga deadline ke aas paas kyuki saari construction team aabhi Maharashtra pe focus karegi fir bhi monsoon aane wala hai uske pahile aur badme kaam fast hote huye dikhega par monsoon ke wakt construction dhima dikhega dekhte hai 9 month's me pura hota hai ya nahi 😊 mai jnpt se sidha dadri tak train chalne ka wait kar raha hu 🤩

Vaitarna se JNPT complete hone me Dec-25 aa jayega, But vaitarna se aage 20-25 km Vasai bypass tak bhi WDFC start ho jata he to isse Mumbai Ahmedabad section jo 160 kmph kuchh hi dino me hone ki taiyari me he Rail line me Goods train ki Traffic bahut had tak 1 % hi rah jayegi.. Kyuki Vasai se aage shayad hi koi Goods train mumbai suburban ke root pe jati he Baki sabhi 99 % goods train JNPT , South India ki taraf chali jati he..

Yeah. U r right. I knew this 2016 only when IR employee who was our local train 🚆 friend told about changes. IR has clear all old Railway station 🚉 & other structure. Even there's a small Sai baba Mandir too.
