~ Ranked Town of Salem is back with some Jailor gameplay! Jailor is my favorite town role, and my favorite role to get in ranked. My jailor tactic has been praised and criticized widely, but I'm keeping it folks because as far as Town of Salem tactics for winning goes, it's been my most effective yet.

It's supposed to be a slight buff to SK and WW, giving them the ability to claim framed. Although that's still vacated by any spies or dead RM

They should of kept the framer buff..... and they need to get rid of forger. Forger is one of the most boring or useless roles if it gets paired up with janitor or a Second forger....

Caps and exclamation points in wills are so if you die, it grabs the players’ attention. A lot of ppl miss what is said in wills and forget to check, so that’s why i do it.

Delphine didn't do what she told jailor nor what KIDD asked all TI's to do D2 by posting will's every day. Delphine didn't check easy to fake mafia spy claims. "You jailed me twice, how would I be useful?" Cmon... really? You don't need to be a sheep and follow what town says 100% (because ToS is a social deduction game) but doing your own thing and not following through on your own word just hurts everyone else and you. I believe Delphine just checked who she wanted to check which lead to useless information which leads to skimm jailing her twice. One day with useless information and one day with nothing but an insult? It's not surprising other townies also assumed Delphine wasn't a sheriff (5:42 - smithers (accusation of evil) | 8:42 - KIDD (agrees with skimm's suspicion of Delphine)).

I like how you slowed down on the 3, 2, 1 thing. Really bugged me when you did it too fast that the system saw it as spam and before the jailed player could even panic from it.

I still think he does it too fast. Especially if I'm not expecting to be jailed (because it's a 1/9 to 1/14 chance for the most part) , Im thinking Im going to be able to perform my nightly action. It takes a hot second to realize that "oh, I cant do anything? Oh, I'm in jail!" and at that point he's already typed out '2'. Yea, I'm going to claim slowly because I wasn't expecting to be in jail!

@@OneFloofyBooper I always look at chat before anything else to see of I got jailed, with a lot of jailors I put my claim out there before they even ask for a role, also the noises from the chat log should clue you in that you should probably look over there

SXH one game i was mafia and town had 4 confirmed ts 1 mayor 1 ret and 2 trans, 2 lo and 2 tp and we still won with 4 mafia still alive lol

as an evil i always live to the end of the game you know why? 1. im quick to claim 2.i start writing a will the moment the game starts 3. I engage the town in their conversation in deduction (usually to throw in doubt or to make them more susp of an innno boy) the moment the game starts i Write down 3 different claims i can use If i am godFather for instance ill write it down like this BG (this is last resort claim if i am invested NEVER USE THE OBVIOUS CLAIM UNLESS YOU KNOW YOU HAVE BEEN INVESTED ) Doc Sheriff (if you have a Consig or janitor then use Their results and claim investigator instead which will carry more clout) i will write a will actively for each one each night when jailed ill pick one and roll with it for the rest of the game being evil isnt that hard. just dont make these mistakes 1.never be slow to claim to the jailor if jailor is aggressive dont tell him to "calm down jeez" if talk to the jailor like you are flustered its an obvious scum read and you will get exed 100% of the time HOWEVER if you are 100% business with the jailor then you will likely avoid his axe 2.dont be overly defensive when accused stay calm and always have something to say that throws doubt out there for instance if you are godfather and its an arsonist game adn you are investigated you can roll with yoru doctor or sheriff claim just throw it out that "im doused" if you are SK or random mafia and sheriff calls you susp always come out with "Im framed then spy come out and confirm" you have to strive to make yourself sound as towny as possible, 3.NEVER CLAIM THE OBVIOUS CLAIM UNLESS YOU KNOW YOU HAVE BEEN ACTIVELY INVESTIGATED BY AN INVESTIGATOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if you are consort and there is a spy DO NOT CLAIM ESCORT AS SPY WILL CALL YOU OUT ON YOUR BS If you are janitor THEN DO NOT CLAIM MEDIUM OR RETRI!!! (although claming retri might save you from being lynched for a day and waste a day for town making them wait 2 days to lynch you instead of lynching you when they should have (and wasting 3 nights for the jailor if he jails you and tells you to revive) but you can only do this when there is no confirmed retri )

I find it interesting to see people scumreading through the game with Skimm, and taking things in their own ways (such as finding mistakes in the evil fake claims and whatnot) I’m slowly learning how to do this, playing in both classic and ranked PRACTICE but it’s cool to see you guys all picking up on things!

Glad you exed that vig claim. I figured the Med claim was evil (saying something other than one's role first thing to the Jailor is insta-sus), but with no other TS at that point, exeing would have been risky.

I did! The thing is I was in a game where there isn’t Vet as a role option and I was so much in Skimm mode that when someone asked for TP, i put in my will that I hoped it wasn’t vetbait. Whooooops.

TwoPercentSkimm, just one thing that you have to fix with your Jailor meta is that answering on the number "2" is not late. that just means that they aren't the fastest typer or they aren't paying attention to chat in the night time or that they are trying to put in RT into their will.

I've been watching your videos ever since I've discovered this game. They are very entertaining and I love this game even more each day ! So I just had to post two little story that happened to me not long ago. I was playing as an Lookout and had an eye on a guy that claimed TP from the very start. I've never seen FOUR people visiting ONE target. Thankfully, my target was healed and I started to type in chat the discovery I made. I post my will and see that another LO visited my target as well and confirmed it. But I noticed that instead of posting my will, I get a message that I was BM. Fine, I can still confirm the claims of the other LO in the next round. But then they started to investigate all those people listed in LO will. I'm praying not to get picked, but no such luck. Guilty. So I quickly wrote down the information on my will and confirming second LO. While typing I get a whisper from the BM apologizing for blackmailing me. I added it to my will and couldn't stop laughing. Needless to say, Mafia lost that round. That person had a big heart ! Another time I was playing Vet and the town managed to work together. I had some people who I trusted so I claimed vet, told Mafia good luck and loaded my gun. I shot two Mafia members and defended a WW attack (I believe it was WW). One Mafia Member left early game and all we had to do, is to find WW and other MF. Fun :D I really love this game !

Skimm, I found two vet baits you can use 1. be quiet at night 1 - mafia might think you are mayor or jailor, and mostly people will try to get the quiet ones 2. claim medium right before night 1 - kinda hard to explain, but maf will think you're actually medium and will try to kill you N1 (Also, shadow claimed medium night 1 and died straight away)

Don't be quiet on Day 1.. That's how TI and TP get killed when visiting you. Yes, Mafia does tend to visit people who do not speak day 1 because people who do are potentially vet baiting, but so does town. Claiming medium is a bad idea because since some medium claims die day 1 people will be on them, and TP can die.

Random Person I don't know what ELO you are in, but this tactic is very useful and they probably hung you because they didn't know better. Yes, once I was GF and all my mafia left before the game started. A good tactic, if this happens, is to not kill when jailor is still alive. Then, you can accuse whoever was jailed as the GF. And if YOU are jailed, you just say that GF is messing with town and not killing (instead of saying you were attacked in jail).

Don't really care if it's annoying, it's a fantastic way to have evils make mistakes. Never really seem to have town get upset at me for it, only the evils since they are forced to claim right away.
