Very good interview. The only criticism about this particular interview surrounds the hush manner in which the Tiananmen Square protests are discussed, especially as articulated by the interviewer. It gives the false western narrative that it was a massacre and that thousands of students (10,000 according to that lying BBC) were killed there. The truth of the matter is that there were about 300 Chinese who were killed, more than 1/2 were PLA soldiers and the rest were mainly Chinese workers, not students. The US involvement in fomenting the Tiananmen Square student protests include (1) the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) which is a well-known CIA front for instigating so-called "color-revolutions" through the planet, (2) US Colonel Robert Helvey, a 30-year Pentagon veteran of destabilization operations in Asia, (3) US ambassador James Lilley, a veteran CIA agent who ran operations smuggling students in and out of China, (4) Gene Sharp, US top undercover street protest strategist, (5) et al. For a more complete accounting of the Tiananmen Square protests, search for an article titled, "How psy-ops warriors fooled me about Tiananmen Square: a warning". I hope this channel, being financially sponsored by the US Consulate in Shanghai, is NOT trying to propagate these and other US and western "narratives" or LIES under the guise of recounting these otherwise fascinating stories.
