The white chicks had puffy ass, sprayed, hair the size of afro's. To call your firends you had to use a pay phone. Do they even exist anymore outside of airports and train stations? Kids, us, we talked to one another on the school bus. No laptops, no phones. Today you would be lucky to even get a glimpse from a kid on a bus. I was 15 in 1985 when this was released.

This is actually the original version. The radio stations cut it down. The first time I heard this song was in 1984 on 97.7 CHOM FM Montreal, Quebec. I grew up in NY State, CHOM and WIZN 106.7 Vergennes, Vt were my stations.

They often mess up the better, extended remix, as heard here with the intro that detracts rather than enhances it. Should've/could've been better than the original to bother making it but alas, this happened fairly often, with the "better" extended mixes in the wrong remixer's hands.
