I visited Jaipur back in 2020 on a 2 week group trip to India :) Loved it but we didnt have time to see much besides the major sights, this video makes me want to come back to explore more! I definitely missed out on some great places like those beautiful dresses!

You definitely should go back! The shopping is incredible. There’s just so much to see and eat! The food was delicious. One restaurant I absolutely loved is called The Johri. They have very unique vegetarian dishes that are so good.

Did you book a tour for this trip? Or find a group when you were there? I’d love to do a solo trip here but would prefer to do with a group tour as a woman, this looked incredible!

No I didn’t book a tour for this week of my trip. Jas Vilas (where I stayed) was recommended by a friend. The walking tour I booked once I was in Jaipur. I met another traveler who told me about the tour she did and how awesome it was so I got the contact details and did it myself. Then I just spent the rest of the week exploring on my own. I used Uber to book tuk tuks and cab (which was quick and safe) and looked up recommendations for places to shop, eat and explore via blog posts and from locals. However, my friend Mariellen has a company called India for Beginners and she puts together itineraries for solo female travelers. She did it for me for the first few days I was there (which I shared in IG stories) and it was great. You can google India for Beginners or find her on IG.
