This is Part 2 of my Jaisalmer travel and it features some glimpses of Day 2 of my Jaisalmer trip.
After breakfast, we headed towards Gadisar lake (Gadisagar lake) and enjoyed the mesmerizing views of the artificial lake which was made to compensate the need of water for local people. Here you can enjoy the beauty of the lake through boating which is available at each gate of the lake.
After enjoying the beautiful views of the lake, we went to see the amazing PATWON KI HAVELI , which are a series of five havelis built by Guman Chand Patwa in 1805. It took the workers almost 55 years to complete the first haveli. With an interesting history, Patwon Ki Haveli is actually the first and the largest haveli to be constructed in Jaisalmer. History says that Patwa was an extremely wealthy man and a well-known trader of his time.
