Eves theme how it plays in the fight from Zukes side of the fight.
I originally wanted to have Zukes version and Maydays version in one video but couldn't get it to work. So separated it is °^°.
I included Enter Eve in here because it kinda plays in the fight and it just fits really well i think ^^

Realized something listening to these back to back, and figuring out how eVe may have gotten so popular. Since both sides of Nadia represent a different personality of herself almost, the songs so drastically different. Mayday hears and sees the oppressive and aggressive side of her realm,the side that sounds the most like a very nasty form of EDM: Dubstep. While not my favorite genre in EDM, it can easily suck people in with it's strong rhythm and heavy tempos. Meanwhile, Zuke is on the opposite. Her softer side, where the music is more clear and has a proper melody most off. When you listen to Mayday side, the original rhythm gets almost lost under the loud screaming of the dubstep. Meanwhile, in this clearer side, Zuke actually hears the music Nadia wants to produce. The sound she identifies as her best. And yet, I have a theory because of the stress of sticking out and wanting to find someone to weave her heart with. Her softer white side barely creeps out into her music and is locked away. Mayday herself isn't very artistic, and has become more accustomed to the noise of her rivals, not to mention being a stranger to her finds her music awful. But Zuke has history, he als has a more artistic perception and better appreciation of eVe's craft. Think about it: Millions of people hearing the same song, but different people hear *Two different songs*. Because their views and ideals may differ greatly. One side hears party bopping dubstep, while the other hears soulful synths, all at the same time in this orchestra of emotion.

For anyone who's a little confused on what tracks play for each side, here's what I got from it: Note: This doesn't apply to the Switch version: (Warning this is very long, read slowly to understand) "Enter Eve" plays as normal before the fight during Eve and Zuke's conversation. "Intro" plays when Eve talks about College before the fight. "Phase 1"'s whole instrumental in-game works in a weird way. It's always: Base -> (Lead Base + Backing Rock) -> Rock From what I've seen, it ALWAYS plays in this order on Zuke's side of Phase 1. It actually plays like this on Mayday's side too as when the fight starts, it automatically switches to playing as Mayday. The only time when EDM plays in Phase 1 at all, is if you switch back to Mayday after switching from Zuke. So if you switch to Zuke and then back to Mayday, it plays: EDM -> (Lead EDM + Backing Rock) -> Rock This means that on Mayday's in-game mix it would be: Base -> EDM -> (Lead EDM + Backing Rock) -> Rock The way Phase 2 and Phase 3 work in-game is much more simpler, it plays Base for Zuke, and EDM for Mayday. Zuke's side for both Phase 2 and Phase 3: Base -> (Lead Base + Backing Rock) -> Rock Mayday's side for both Phase 2 and Phase 3: EDM -> (Lead EDM + Backing Rock) -> Rock Note: Phase 3 Rock also plays when your controlling both players at the same time in the final tunnel. Phase 4 always plays as Rock. In-game, Mayday doesn't play in Phase 4. But in her side of the mix, I think it was a good idea to keep Phase 4 to make the song feel complete. The switch version has a entirely different structure (I'm not as certain about the order here), As Zuke it’s: Phase 1: Base Phase 2: (Lead Rock + Backing Base) Phase 3: (Lead Base + Rock) Phase 3 (Final Tunnel): (Lead Base + Rock) Phase 4: Base As Mayday it's: Phase 1: Base -> EDM (Plays IF you switch to her after playing as Zuke) Phase 2: (Lead EDM + Backing Base) Phase 3: (Lead EDM + Backing Base) Phase 3 (Final Tunnel): (Lead Base + Rock) [It changes to match Zuke's side] Phase 4: (None) On a side note: "Lead" refers to both the Rhythm and the Melody, while "Backing" refers to just the Backing.

Another detail is that the melody is generally a lot clearer on Zuke's side, possibly referencing the fact that Zuke knows her and her attacks (as the attacks are based off the music). Another reference to this is that the melody especially in Phase 3 of Zuke's fight is overbearing (the melody at 8:55), possibly referencing how "intense" they'd viewed each other before. Furthermore, the melody in Mayday's side is much more the opposite: at times the melody is drowned out by the aggressive backing, sometimes it's overbearing, and sometimes there is none at all. The melody being drowned out can reference how tough Eve's attacks are to learn: Something that supports this is that during Phase 3 on Mayday's side, the most aggressive attacks take place at the start of phase 3, and at the end of phase 3, both of which parts have a melody heavily buried by aggressive instruments. One more connection is how each side sounds with partial rock. On Mayday's side, the aggressive EDM overpowers the backing rock. And on Zuke's side, the melody overpowers the backing rock in Phase 3, but otherwise they go together somewhat balanced.

It's implied by later dialogue and visuals that it's some kind of psychic illusion based power. Zuke says "I'm still here" when she separates them, after the fight they are back in the main room like nothing had happened and Mayday when looking at a trophy from Eve's boss fight says "Its creepy how Eve can mess with our minds" "No one escapes" probably means "No finds thier way out if my illusion world"

Actually, in the soundtrack (in spotify), VS. EVE (the normal version) actually has a version of phase 4 but it isnt rock. You can listen to the one that plays in the rock version of VS. EVE. I'm pretty sure that it plays rock in the game because Bunk Bed Junction probably had defeated her already.
