Jak 3: Wasteland Races 1 and 2 Gold

At least in the races in Jak 2, you have some control over the zoomers, but in Jak 3, every single vehicle is constantly trying to make 180s and flip over for no reason.

Jak 2 vehicle is totally uncontrollable. To control jak3 cars just dont push "accelerate" button, while rotate driving wheel.

I found that holding in the jump button for the dune hopper, without releasing it, really helped with the sliding and helped me keep traction. Worst driver ever in Jak 3 but that shortcut and holding in the jump got me the gold :3

Seriously, screw this shit. I've been trying to race properly in Jak 3, but the vehicle controls are just fucked up. I was going to try and collect all the orbs legitimately, but I've had enough. I'm going to exploit some glitch.

Turn on the unlimited boost secret, grab a dune hopper, and just jump boost most of the straight areas. Took me like 5 tries to get it that way on the first race, and 1 try on the second. And it still counts, so even though you are "cheating", you are technically doing it officially, as the game intended, as opposed to with a glitch.

Just becuse these races are easier than those races doesn't exuse the fact that you slide all over the place.

Idk, man, I had an easier time with Jak II races than these What DOES make Jak III races easier is the fact that you can turn on unlimited turbo cheat and complete them with a dune hopper easily but just jump boosting most of the straight ways. But as FhuckGoogle+ pointed out - yes, the cars are difficult to control and slide all over the place as soon as you try to turn or go over a bump.

I had a very hard time trying to beat the record for these racing challenges. But some how I managed to get the first one done. But, the second was really tough! Somehow, I think now know what to do as I watched this video.

These races would be way easier if your buggies didn't slip and slide all over the place whenever you try and drive them. Once you learn how to use the Desert Screamer, for example, it is actually quite fun to use but when you first buy it you'll think it's a piece of shit.

I cannot get the car to stop sliding, no matter how little i turn, brake, or let go of the gas i slide horribly. You seem to not have this problem, any tips?

From what I was able to do is I let go of the gas then pushed it again. Seems to help stop the odd sliding.

i literally dont understand how u get around that fast even with me doing exactly what u do one lap is 1 minute and 3 seconds thats not fast enough for under 3 minutes

@@simonpeter2776, let's get started: 1. Buy the "unlimited turbo charges" glitch in the secrets area on the menu. 2. Activate this glitch and use it on the race. Just keep using during the course. 3. When you're about to cross the finish line, in the end of the race, pause The game and disable this cheat. 4. TA-DAAA! You'll get all the loot pronto! Good luck, Simon!

Damn the Car Racing sucked always in Jak 3. You ptobabply have no Control about those damn Vehicles. The First Vehicle is the best in Control but its to slow.
