I could not agree more. I don't speak this gentleman's language either, but this video clearly showing the proper orientation of the heat sink clips (I'm pretty sure Arcitic instructional video shows them mounted backward), and the proper orientation of the heat sink itself. Great job sir!!!

@@PatriotSecuritySystems Yeah, in the process of installing myself. the Artic manual for rev7 have the threaded posts opposite (more towards the center on the mobo) and then the screws into the standoffs up high, which seems to be the furtherest offset of the cold plate (towards middle of mobo). Think I'll go with the manual, but this helped show how to get it installed. Thanks!

First video i've seen actually showing a proper install on AM5 for this cooler. I searched for a while and only found this after completing my install. There is one part here that I don't know was covered because I don't speak the language, but, when installing the thumb screws, the last four securing the coldplate to the cpu, the two brackets attached to the pump just bend as far as you can push them, the mounting pressure is likely to be uneven unless you take care to tighten each one correctly. I'm so used to mounting hardware where you bottom out when reaching the correct screw install torque, seems crazy to me that this kit does not include this aspect in it's design.

Why did you put your mounting plates on upside down compared to the instructions? It says the bracket with the curved edges should go to the top of the motherboard.

I tested both ways, both worked. But for your peace of mind, install them according to the Arctic manual.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for this video. I have my Arctic Freezer II 420 and couldn't mount it on my upgraded AM5 system. Your video was the only one that showed the installment with the spacers and the different mounting clips. Shame that Arctic and other companies list their coolers as AM5 compatible even though you need to buy an extra kit to install them.

Dobrý den, koukal jsem do manuálu k chladiči a tam mají ty dva držáky, co jsou přimontovány k základní desce obráceně. Ten držák, kde je u kruhového vybrání širší mají na horní straně desky. Nebo jsem to špatně pochopil?

It is intentionally offset a bit because Ryzen CPUs are asymetrical.

Nevieš v akom stave je oprava problémového tesnenia základne u tohoto chladiča. Na základe viacerých sťažnosti že im chladiaca tekutina po čase rozožrala tesnenie, Arctic mal záujemcom dodávať nejaký servis kit.

I don't think there are any better than this one. Except a few of way more expensive AIOs and custom loop ones last of which I am not sure about yet existing for AM5 just yet. And those definitely will be priced more than this AIO. If you can't go for 420mm, go for 360mm or at least 240mm one (or 280mm?). You could use other AIOs, for example from Corsair vendor. Depends on the pricing and how you like it. Note: remember to see if your case has the support of certain AIO. Max size of radiator certainly. Better to mount them on top to left the coldplate being the lowest point for water (so pump won't move air instead of thw water).

@@kreozello Hi, thanks for the advice I'll keep an eye on it. At the moment, my favorites PC cases are the Corsair iCUE 5000X RGB Tempered Glass and the Phanteks Eclipse G600S which support 120-360mm fans. And I liked the alternative AIO cooler Fractal Design Lumen S24 ARGB V2 (240mm)

Chtěl bych se zeptat, mám menší problémek nedávno sem upgradoval nějaké komponenty a hlavně přechod z intelu na nové amd ryzeny am5, a tenhle chladič 240 sem kupoval na začátku 2020, mno ale problém je ten že nemám ktomu šroupky, válečky a ty můstky na amd am sockety, jaké mám teď řešení nikde se to nedá koupit a je mi docela škoda kupovat novej chladič kvůli tomu :)

mám otázku - instaloval jsem Freezer 240 - vše úplně stejně i konektor do cpu_fan, fólie odlepena, pasta rozetrena a při první spuštění procesor během Chvile vystřelil na 100° - větráky se tocily a vyfukovaly chladný vzduch... vadná pumpa? nebo nějaký nápad? zkoušel jsem to zapojit i do pump pinů, ale stále stejný problém... Děkuji!

Pokud to vypadá, že základna chladiče dobře doléhá na procesor, může být vadná pumpa pravděpodobným viníkem. Ideálně bych vyzkoušel i jiný chladič procesoru, jestli s ním se bude chovat procesor korektně.

Čao jaké má CPU maximální teploty?

Záleží na typu zátěže. Předpokládejme nejnáročnější všejádrovou zátěž. Tyto procesory úmyslně dosahují až 95 stupňů, ale je možné nastavit, aby fungovaly až do 115 stupňů. Nebo jim naopak snížit spotřebu a tím teploty za cenu trochy výkonu.

Ten kablík na chldiči se nestará jen o napájení pumpy, ale hlavně o regulaci otáček ventilátorů. Z toho důvodu bych doporučil CPU_Fan

CPU_PUMP zvykne mat moznost ovladat rychlost pumpy prudom (direct current), co je dobre, ked mas napajanu pumpu nezavisle, tu je to ale vsetko cez jeden kablik. Cez PWM ventilatora viem znizit otacky pumpy nizsie ako cez riadenie prudom, takze CPU_PUMP pre mna nema zmysel.
