My favourite thing about this video is how they all are nodding to the rythm of the song, like they're really enjoying themselves. Also Jake in his jacket, he looks so warm and comfy, and you can tell he's just had his morning cuppa.

Interesting English minstrel version here, aye mate? I think Cash would be proud of this cover. Jake is as honest and real as they come. Boy, do we need it in this world of manufactured over processed everything. Thank you Keith Urban (Idol) for introducing us.
@Kirkunik110 жыл бұрын
Believe me I see a lot in Jake Bugg. He struck me immediately. I wish my friends understood his depth of talent. They hear his voice and it doesn't sound like a trained vocalist. Well neither did Bob Dylan. despite the criticism he only went on to become a legend . I predict that for Jake if he continues writing good songs. It may take some time to break into the shallow American market...but I hope not. I look forward to him performing in So CA. someday.

I agree. I love Jake Bugg. BIG Fan and I love how the band keeps (this) song simple. I think he can fit his voice to sing it instrumentally because of his cover of Hey Hey My My. Maybe this is just Jake's way of expressing tribute. He loved Johnny Cash. And in Jake's words himself he does the music as he wants to do it and he just hopes people like it. -

I hear the train a comin' It's rollin' 'round the bend, And I ain't seen the sunshine Since, I don't know when I'm stuck in Folsom Prison And time keeps draggin' on But that train keeps a-rollin' On down to San Antone When I was just a baby My Mama told me, "Son Always be a good boy Don't ever play with guns, " But I shot a man in Reno Just to watch him die When I hear that whistle blowin' I hang my head and cry I bet there's rich folks eatin' In a fancy dining car They're probably drinkin' coffee And smokin' big cigars But I know I had it comin' I know I can't be free But those people keep a-movin' And that's what tortures me Well, if they freed me from this prison If that railroad train was mine I bet I'd move out over a little Farther down the line Far from Folsom Prison That's where I want to stay And I'd let that lonesome whistle Blow my blues away
