I have to say this guy is the freshest thing I have heard on the music scene in a very very long time, he is a complete antidote to the manufactured pop of Cowell et al. Really great and thought provoking lyrics set to great melodies and performed with feeling and an amazing voice. I don't think we should be comparing him to the greats of the past though he certainly has the talent to enter that pantheon.
