Jake is one of the rare breed that just endures & expands his musicianship as time rolls on. Just purchased Patina on cd after watching the video of Bitter. Fantastic song, great album! Best stuff he's done since Badlands 1st album. He continues amaze almost 40 years since Ozzy!!!

As real as it gets!! He plays because, whatever style he wants to, he is not trying to be commercial. His rhythm guitar abilities, solos and the tone are unique and brutal, Jake is a guitar God period. Even when his youth friend George Lynch offered him $10,000 cash to get on stage and jam two songs he did not accepted. He is not playing for money only.

I hope Red Dragon Cartel can come to the UK one day. I was 13 when BATM came out and I thought the guitar playing was raw and the best I had ever heard. Especially the intro to R&RR which made me want to learn to play electric guitar. I read a lot of the guitar magazines at the time and I didn’t understand any of the explanations or tabs breaking down Jakes playing technique! Interesting that in the past you didn’t often get the chance to discover much in-site into your heroes personality, ...until the internet. Disappointing that many have been discovered as ass holes and a lot less were discovered to be down to earth gracious human beings; my view is that I’m pleased to find Jake is definitely the later. Rock on brother

Thanks for uploading this! Saw the original interview. Just love Jake interviews he's so personable and I agree with where he's coming from. Please don't quit Jake there's plenty of hardcore fans who are still interested. Wonder if he is planning any more RDC shows? Record companies just don't seem to put the backing behind bands nowadays, maybe they don't have the cash or is it something else? Hope his arthritis isn't playing up I know it's painful and don't know how he manages to play let alone how amazingingly he plays. Plus he is fellow cat lover all good. I'd send him money in a heartbeat if I wasn't skint! Lol.

I didn't even know this! But Sharon and Ozzy promised writing credits to him and when the album was finished, they turned on him and gave all the credit to Ozzy. That's all right, we all know that album would have never sounded that good without Jake!!
@MasterSumai3 жыл бұрын
Jake says he isn't playing Bark At The Moon or any other song he did with Ozzy ?? Wrong !!!!! He had done a few since & is still doing them !! They are: The Ultimate Sin - Bark At The Moon - Rock & Roll Rebel & Spiders !! Come on Jake, don't b.s. us !! Jake, you need to get back with Ozzy, somehow !! You're the best & always been the best replacement guitarist to replace Randy in Ozzy's solo band !! Wouldn't say it of I didn't mean it !!!
@justinclark88672 жыл бұрын
Jake did say he would only work with Ozzy again, if he got his writing credits for the Bark At The Moon album. Despite that Ozzy confirmed (in his autobiography) that Lee and Bob Daisley wrote that album, Sharon can't seem to swallow her pride and let it happen.
@livingbeing1113 Жыл бұрын
He didn't bs anyone. He said he would not play BATM for the Patina's tour, and he didn't. He only played Spiders from it. He played BATM and few others Ozzy songs during his first tour when he came back around 2014.
@steelerdog14563 жыл бұрын
I get he is over Bark at the Moon but there is an entire generation of us that welcomed Jake after Randy died. That album identifies our childhood and for him to basically say screw you if you don't like I'm not playing it anymore is crap. Its a couple 3 minute songs. Way to alienate your fan base Jake.

⁉️📛 Jake, dude, quit smoking cigarettes already! I smoked from about age 14 in 1981 or 82. I became addicted by age 15 or 16, and smoked 1 pack a day for 30 freaking years! I didn't FINALLY QUIT til 2012! Back in 2001, I managed to quit for most of a year, but then started up again. Its a terrible habit that WILL kill you! Quit ASAP........ 🙂👍

JAKE IS ONE IN A MILLION. UBER TALENTED. PATINA WAS STATE OF THE ART. INCREDIBLE ALBUM. YET JAKE'S IS ABOUT AS HUMBLE AS A GUY CAN GET. FOR BEING ASTOUNDINGLY TALENTED. SHARON DID HIM LIKE SHIT. BECAUSE OF THAT I NO LONGER LISTEN TO OZZY.
