jake gyllenhaal is a fantastic actor. he isnt in 3 or 4 movies per year but in his last couple of movies he really showed his talent. he is one hell of an actor. he chooses his projects carefully and he chooses them properly like the source code, prisoners, the enemy who sure prove that. nightcrawler got great reviews which is awesome and jake completely lost himself in the role. i still can not believe he got snubbed at the oscars, i know its a stacked year but its outrageous he wasnt nominated. its so interesting that he almost got to be spiderman and batman, i would like to see him as the new hal jordan in DCCU!

Really agree he has chosen good roles the past couple of years. This years award season will be tight like last years, Steve Carell is a lock for a nom imo and Benedict Cumberbatch,Brad Pitt,Channing Tatum,Michael Keaton are a couple of actors who can get recognition from the Academy in lead actor category.
