In my opinion the only thing stopping alonso from the 2012 championship was grojean in spa because he had a good race ahead but that's f1 for you

Slow car first few races, japan some 10-15 points lost first corner. I'm a Alonso fan but we should all now that Vettel's retirement in Valencia was the point were he should had lost the championship to Alonso.Gaining 32 points instead of losing 7,you know. But still with that car and the skill that season i would say a champion's drive. But we don't buy anything for that.
