Today I'm reacting to The Ghost Inside's new single and music video "AFTERMATH". I'll be honest, it was a difficult video to watch as it brought up their traumatic experience of their bus crash in 2015.. however, the band has healed and chosen to carry a torch of victory while gifting us with this insanely emotional and anthem like track "AFTERMATH". Please subscribe and comment below your thoughts on this track and music video! Thanks for stopping by :)

Having those cleans, and looking back, those few seconds felt like 'ok, so we're coming off a rest day and we're rested and let's go get it and play the next show' and that scream is the crash and those months of rehab and losing a friend'. Like, Vigil taps into all of that darkness and fear and anger and loss and in one song, this band stated how strong their will is to look forward and move forward. Seeing Andrew's leg for the first time is a dagger, and I'm just glad these guys survived.

I was a vocalist for years. Just so happens to be metal. When certain vocal pitches, guitar tones, and then the added visuals. Tears just happen when you hear such a good part of a song. It’s like the “nasty heavy face” you get when you hear a dirty breakdown. That dem good tears.

Man I remember seeing both August Burns Red and the ghost Inside on the eastpak antidote tour when you were performing in Gothenburg Sweden. It was the first third time I went and saw August Burns red live. You were as always tearing the house down but the thing that realt stood out to me that night was the 15 minutes I got to spend with Jonathan Vigil after the show. I was going through the biggest depression of my life at the time but their album The returners was pretty much what helped me go through it. I got the chance to talk to Jonathan for a while to show my gratitude. I got the biggest hug of my life and he would not stop talking about how important we as fans of the band was for him and the band. Such a cool dude. Jake, this was such a heartfelt reaction. I've watched the video multiple times now and your reaction has made me feel emotional because I could see your emotion and the impact that it had in you because you know the guys personally. Hope you are well and staying safe ❤

Started my Sunday off with shedding some metal tears. This song is amazing and I can’t wait for the rest of the album to come out. I’ve dealt with a lot of tragedy in my life and this song really being comfort.

It’s not often you come across reaction videos that are as genuine as this one. So many channels faking their response and feelings but this is clearly straight from the heart.

Whoa. I didn't listen to the entire song until just now. Good grief I didn't expect to shed tears on the can, listening to a metal song. What a day.

This song brought tears to my eyes before I even knew the backstory. The raw emotion in his voice is *powerful,* and anyone who says "screams" only convey anger does *not* know what they're talking about.

The first time I ever saw this band was in Lubbock Texas where I’m from. It was right after they released returners. They opened for stick to your guns, and my life was never the same!
