One of the big things that annoyed me about season 4 is when they split up the same song between two or more singers in different places. I think sharing the song in episode 1 between Rachel and Marley was a good call because it showed both singer's voices well and proved that Marley had potential. However, splitting Everytime between Marley, Rachel, and Britney clouds the emotions each of them are feeling - Marley and Jake barely know each other yet, so the lyrics really don't fit, and while both Rachel and Britney have the relationships to fit the lyrics, Rachel is mostly thriving at NYADA except for one class, so they really should have given the song to Britney. They keep flipping back and forth between New York and Ohio too much during season 4, but it's still good and things start getting better later on. Then season 5 shakes everything up - and it's not a spoiler to say that one actor's tragic death blows up the show in a lot of ways.

What they should have done is split the show into 3, new York with rachel, kurt and blaine n have him been their age, all at performing arts colleges... L.A with mercedes, santana, Brittany, quinn, puck and Sam (again all same age) mostly focusing on careers.. puck n Sam trying to start a business, living together.. mercedes n Naya trying to break into the music n acting world Brittany trying to figure out what she wants n quinn at college n dating, w/ the girls living together... and mckinely with Tina, Artie n Unique (and the teachers) and some new students that were actually more like misfits and different, like they do in s6 ..n had each episode focus solely on those characters in those places with slight cross overs when they visit eachothet ie. Ep 1. New York, 2. Mckinely, 3. LA etc..would've been epic

I think Ryan Murphy wanted to do two separate shows for the glee club, then the graduates but FOX shut the idea down. He did say the writers had a pilot written, but it fell through.

Interesting but I don't think that would have been as good as the 3 shows in 1 concept ..the original glee would've been way less interesting than the spin off

This is really wen the show started going downhill, season 5 is the worst season, n its coz not only do we not get to see alot of our fav characters, the new characters are not what glee is about, glee is about misfits n ppl who are different n they introduce 4 new characters that are all attractive n have no real obstacles or struggles to overcome or anything that makes them different, they just seem like they could could the popular k!ds at skl..aswell they're generally very bland like they have no personality at all...the only interesting one that's unique is well..unique lol
